Hi There!I love hanging out in starbucks, curling up with a good movie or documentary, wandering in the woods and exploring new places, and going to the driving range even though I'm not very good. I loved being a student and am forever trying to learn new things, reading for pleasure, Manitoulin Island, sushi, traveling, my family and friends, adrenaline rushes, summer time, sarcastic banter and camping/canoeing. I love animals and am a vegetarian but if you eat meat that's ok. I don't go to the bars very often any more but still have fun when I do. I'm passionate but laid back, type A but can go with the flow, a girl who wears dresses but can get her hands dirty.Having a strong work ethic is very important to me- don't get me wrong, I like my downtime but I feel it's important to work, to have goals and to have the drive to achieve those goals. I like trying new things and doing things for the shock value. I like to be a little bit different from the rest. My interests vary from politics to nature to tattoos to teaching resources to world issues and beyond. I think it's incredibly important to be able to talk about what's going on in the world, to have an informed opinion but also to be willing to listen to others opinions. I love the arts (visual art, theater, singing, orchestral) and think they are an amazing creative outlet and learning tool that often gets overlooked.     First, and foremost, I am the mom of a two year old little boy. He rocks my world! He may be the cutest, most ornery little thing you'll ever meet! I absolutely adore watching him change, learn, and grow. Obviously at some point, I want to settle down, have a family, share my time with a significant other, but at the moment, I'm just ready for whatever comes my way, may that be friends, or my future husband.
