In my life, I've found that one of the most important things to learn is appreciation of what you have. If you value the positive, it makes you more tolerant of the negative. This is quite helpful in a relationship because we are all flawed in some way. I am able to look over someone's baggage and perceived flaws when their positive attributes are so valuable. For ***, I can forgive a woman for liking country music if she sings "; with me real loud as we drive down the road. I can tolerate her not showing affection in public if when we kiss, I forget who and where I am for the duration. I dont care that she thinks she needs to lose a little bit of weight because we can have a 20 minute discussion about if there is actually a right and left sock (there is, btw...) It doesn't bother me that she rarely says "I love you" when its so glaringly obvious that it goes without saying. She can hate Star Wars if she's crying at the end of Titanic and doesnt laugh at me because I might be too...If this sounds anything remotely like you and how you feel, please send me a message...because I would seriously love to get to know you. Quiet dinner...somewhere to talk. I like to listen as much as talk, so maybe a walk. Depends on the night, the weather, the mood.

In my life I have been able to experience a number of opportunities that have brought joy into my life. Yes, there have been moments of sadness, but from those moments I have gained an even greater appreciation of the things and people I have been privy to along the way. Life is about enjoying all that surrounds us. Whether it's taking a stroll along the shore, exploring historical places, camping out in the woods, or just being able to share goals, ambitions and dreams with each other in a relaxed and comfortable setting.Since ***I have been an educator in the Special Education field, working in both private and public school settings, working primarily with students living with learning disabilities: helping them identify what truly frustrates them in order to develop appropriate coping strategies to overcome their weaknesses by incorporating their strengths to become productive members within their communities. I also teach Lego Robotics as part of the curriculum for all students in the classroom setting and proudly coached our school's first ever team to compete at the state level in the FIRST Lego League. In the spring, I am a head coach for our school's track & field team, which has grown from a group of less than 30 students my first year to over ***interested athletes. In the past 2 seasons I have had 4 athletes break school records. Needless to say, I like to stay active and am looking forward to participating in my first 5K this coming summer. Update: My goal was to complete one 5K. That was three races ago now. While not the fastest runner I have been able to knock off a minute with each new run.
