There's a few changes here if you've viewed my profile before.First, I've changed my status to separated. When I built this profile I thought my divorce would be over in a *** forward six months and it's still dragging on. It's not that it has been contentious just complex. And it seems like the end is near but I don't want to deceive anyone so I changed my status to separated. I haven't really been on here much in the past three months or I probably would have done it sooner. It is going into storage, though, and will hopefully get to see further use in the future.Third, I'm looking primarily for friends. I'm getting myself engaged in the kind of activities where I will meet similar folks to myself but there are quite a few interesting looking people on here also. So if I contact you I'd like to get to know you and see if we can become friends but that is the primary goal for right now. Romantic relationships should start there anyway and I am engaged in some pretty intense introspection, therapy, growth, etc. I'd like a relationship down the road but not in a big rush. Want some fun and companionship and am open to more if it develops later.A little more about me: I love being outdoors and just started hunting again last year. Gardening, working outside, hiking, fishing, hunting or just swimming in the creek and bbq-ing, I like it all. I'm easy to get along with, have a sarcastic wit, and enjoy every kind of music except hardcore rap or metal. I don't like to watch tv at all and prefer non-mainstream movies. I occasionally spend more time fiddling on the internet than I should, though:) Most people would call me liberal politically but that barely brushes the surface. I'm kind of an intellectual, redneck, hippy:) I live in a tipi but want to find the right piece of land and build my own house. Would like to be a part of an intentional community and build an archive for emerging low tech research in the future. I make friends with anyone but am primarily looking for those off the beaten path in life. I'm interested in 4-wheelers as handy modern tools not loud, gas-guzzling means to tear up turf. I'm spiritually oriented and think everyones path in life is ok but if you go to most mainstream churches we probably aren't going to have much in common. I don't knock anyones choices or achievements in life, after all I'm certainly not where I would like to be at 40, but I still have goals that are more than just get my kids out of the house and relax.

I am very spontaneous and I enjoy living each day to it's fullest, as I find that the older I get, the faster life seems to pass by. I am a very large sports fan, however I am also open minded to everyones likes and dislikes. I believe that a relationship can't last unless each is allowed to be themselves and also compromise for their partner when the time arises. I do enjoy working out and staying in shape, and I appreciate a woman who also sets and achieves her own personal goals when it comes to her fitness. As far as my music taste goes, I love reggae (all reggae, not just your cookie cutter Bob Marley), alternative rock(Linkin Park is a FAV, Chevelle is a FAV, some hip-;The Bieb", etc., as that's all my daughter lets me play around her ;***I have an amazing sense of humor, and laughing is the cure for all bad moods. I absolutely can't stand perpetually NEGATIVE people..Keep your negativity to yourselves! First date would be to meet and have good conversation to get to know one another, with some music involved and definitely alot of laughs. Without laughter and letting loose, a relationship is destined to fail..I don't press the whole "dating" cliche, as times and definitions of a "date" have clearly changed with time. I'm very laid back and can get along with anyone in almost all settings.
