I’m a quiet, complex, and occasionally shallow soul with a kind heart and a dry sense of humor. I generally prefer a small group of friends to a huge party of meth addicts. I sing and play guitar in a band, and being safely onstage is the one place I love to see a huge crowd. As a musician (read “undercover nerd”) I may engage you in the odd dull conversation about tube amps, pickups, performance techniques, whether or not the crowd liked a particular song. My one true love will endure these from time to time and tell me with restrained annoyance that “yes, the crowd did indeed like a particular song.” I will, in turn, try to keep said conversations to a minimum.I love all kinds of music, but I am over 40. So keep that in mind.I'm looking for someone sweet, intelligent, and cute, who is pretty easy going. She doesn't have to dress up or wear makeup every day, but it would be nice for both of us to get all dolled up from time to time. She does not have to live in the gym, but it would be nice to be able to be active from time to time. She doesn't have to be artsy, but tolerance of the occasional exhibit or museum is appreciated. Well, I did this once before and had some luck but like most of us, I've had my fair of "bad luck" as well. A bit about me, I am a 40 year old professional who has kinda let life pass me by. I've always put everyones happiness ahead of mine and continued to focus on my career...so...here I am!!! I am single and feel probably as young as my employees who are in college (who were shocked to learn I was 40), I have never married, and do not have children (but I do love kids). I recently met someone who told me that girls tend to think there are RED FLAGS with a guy at age 40 who hasn't been married but I look at it as if I didn' settle and don't regret that at all. Things that I enjoy...I cherish my friends and hold them very dear to me heart. One of my passions is cooking and entertaining. I am a little different then most men as I enjoy shopping (I am straight)...I have a shoe and watch "fetish"! I like to dine out and one thing I don't mind spending money on is a great meal with fantasic company. I am a non-smoker and enjoy a social****ail. From time to time, I will enjoy a cigar but that is pretty rare and would respect the company I am in if they didn't like the smoke. Other things I enjoy...movies, almost all sports, working out, and most definitely traveling. I am game for new experiences and welcome a great challenge. Personally and Professionally I thank GOD for eveything he has given me and know what it is like to work hard for the nicer things in life but also appreciate the value of a dollar.
