Things to describe me: I am warm, outgoing and ambitious. I love to laugh and have a playful/flirtatious streak and a good sense of humor. I am a loyal friend, family is important and I am financially secure. I am a good cook and I love to bake. I've lived in CA, CO and now settled in NJ.Everyone loves to travel and I am no different. I have been to parts of Europe and would like to explore more of it with a partnerI enjoy going out but am just as likely to take the night off and curl up on the couch to read a book, watch a movie or football (yes I LOVE football). But I also love being a woman and putting on a sexy dress for a night out. It is important to me to stay fit and active. I can be found working in my yard, running, attending boot camp or swimming laps in my pool. Athletic, so up to try new sports too.Looking for a man who is interested in building a relationship. Want a man that I can connect to physically, emotionally and intellectually. Ideally, a man whose hand I want to hold, a smile that I can't look away from, and wouldn't ever want to stop thinking about. Is it you? A great date is part chemistry, part conversation and a great deal of smiling/laughter. Let's start with something casual to see if there is a connection then see where it takes us...

To tell you a little about myself..I'm a little laid back. I like being at home probably because I stay so busy being a single parent that my goal is usually to try and make some me time at home. I have a 12 year old daughter I am trying to raise well (so far so good). I have a 28 year old son also and he has a baby now so I am a new grandma so that should tell you why I'm a homebody lol. I just turned the big 50 recently and I just lost my mom a few days ago to cancer so things have been a little rough for the past few years. I'm also a cancer survivor and proud to have beat it but all this has been pretty traumatic but it has just brought me closer to God. I'd love to meet someone who loves God like I do, and I'm not saying you have to go to church but I like going and would like someone who would like to go with me. Even if we don't go to church though, I'd like to meet someone who knows what's right and wrong. I don't like a lot of profanity, I can tolerate a little and I'm not perfect by any means but I am trying to be the best person I am able to be. I rarely have a drink anymore and don't care for the bars anymore. I used to but I learned drinking doesn't really make you feel better and I don't need that to make me happy. My daughter is in 7th grade and she's going to be on the volleyball team this year so I'm sure we'll be having fun with that too. We spend a lot of time together but she is getting to that age where she wants to ditch me every now and then and be with her friends lol...but then there is Lyla (my precious granddaughter). Other than losing my mom, life is very good but I just need that soulmate to share it with. They say there is someone for everyone but I'm beginning to think not for me but I hope I'm wrong and I'm going to keep looking. If you think we might be a match, I'd love to hear from you. I would just like to go out to a nice restaurant and talk. I would have to get to know and trust you before it would go any further.
