Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I have been on meetville before and met some really nice guys, dated for awhile but nothing special really developed for me. But it was a very good learning experience so decided to give it another try. What I learned is that I am an independent woman who knows what she wants and can't settle for less, not only for me but my family. I am a devoted mom to my 3 kids, two daughters, aged 22 and 18 who are both away at college and my surprise, miracle son who is 5 and lives with me. So if any of the above is a problem for you, just pass me by! I am fortunate to have lots of friends and love to hang out with them, cut loose and have fun. I love to dance and love all kinds of music, country being my favorite, (and I do...slide down the hall in my socks :) but I don't think the bar scene is the place to meet someone special. When I have my kids around I love hanging out as a family, entertaining their friends and mine, playing board games, movie night, etc. Family is very important to me and that would include your family as well! There is no pretense about me. I am pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kind of person who loves to laugh and have fun. I am also a very honest, loyal, faithful, loving person and would like to meet someone who is the same. Having been on meetville before I have learned that the best way for me to get accquainted with someone is a couple of messages on meetville, then a couple of phone calls to actually talk (don't think you can get to know someone via text), then meet fairly soon if all goes well. I'm not looking for someone who just wants to chat on meetville, life is too short so let's talk, let's meet and see what happens! I am a single mom working as an RN in a day-surgery type center, in the recovery room, in the burbs. I love music; especially that of a punk rock nature and hope to come across someone that shares my taste in music. I love going to see live shows but it's always more fun when someone goes with you. I have a sarcastic sense of humor for the most part, but a good one just the same. Chillin with beer in front of the tv is a great time just as getting all dressed up and going to a five star restaurant is. I am wise in time but young at heart. I refuse to grow old or be old. My kids are of course the most important things in my life but my heart is big enough to share. Please understand upfront though, there is no competition; they come first! I do know how to let go and relinquish the reigns every now and then ;) I enjoy deep conversations, as well as silly ones. I don't believe in lieing; my honesty can be brutal at times but at least it's truth. Reading good books and watching old movies are favorite past times. Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress. I most definitely do not fit the soccer mom profile. I have a style all my own. Something that makes me unique: I collect Gone With the Wind items. It has always been my favorite movie for as long as I can remember... The whole young, beautiful Irish girl... spoiled.... the man of her dreams.... what else would you expect from an Irish girl of today?What am I looking for? Well first and foremost you must be a man. Yes, I mean that in every sense of the word: physically, emotionally, metaphorically! Someone with a sense of humor, strength, passion, respect, not afraid of commitment, honest, trustworthy, friendship, chemistry....be open to whatever may come. I am not looking for someone to complete me, fix me or take care of me! My kids complete me. Life has thrown me a few punches and I've been beaten but I'm not broken. And I take care of myself just fine. A first date can be anything.... a concert, pool and beer (I like pool but not a champion by any means), dinner, dessert, coffee, drinks.... really anything is up for discussion.
