I am a forty-something, single, and happy woman. I am a teacher at a local elementary school. Children are my passion, and if I have one or two of my own, I would be delighted. If not, I'm okay with that, too. :)Things that I enjoy include: movies, reading, long walks, concerts, theater, and just chilling with my friends.I am a real person who expects the same in return. I'd rather someone be honest with me than to try to soothe things over with nonsense (although tact is important!). I realize not ALL are insincere, which is why I'm still trying. I keep hope alive! Since I'm not a fan of the bar scene, which limits the occasions where I might meet people, I thought I'd give this site a go.I do have extra curves, and while I am happy with who I am, I am working on smoothing out some of those curves. ;-) Just because I carry extra weight does NOT mean that I can't or won't be active! I do enjoy working out, especially with a partner. I have two kids but they are grown and no longer live at home. Since my kids are gone, I have a dog and two cats that are important to me.
