Animals, especially horses and big goofy labs have a special place in my heart. Grown up kid, I absolutely love Disneyland at Christmas. Type-A personality at work, but in my personal life I'd love nothing more than to throw someone else the reins, like a proper lady. I'm honest but always with kindness and compassion. Sweet, caring, hopelessly-devoted-to-you romantic hidden by an Amazon-warrior exterior - break through and you'll never be treated better! Driven, motivated, tenacious, accomplished and successful at work but striving for the balance more and more these days. Above all else, I know who I am (even if we're all a work in progress), and I'm HAPPY - great family, friends, career, health - now just need someone to make life (and me) even better! Is this you? You've got to be tall and secure enough because I do still like to wear heels :). Be uniquely funny, hilarious if you dare, with wit beyond compare (ha - I just rhymed!). Have common sense and street smarts mixed with an above average IQ (points for good grammar and good spellers!). Be solid, stable - know who you are and what you want; that is, when you find it! Learn from baggage then check it to the curb. Open and honest, you say what you feel, even when it’s hard because you know it’s just fair. Have a passion in your life – I won’t judge – your prize collection of Star Wars figurines or base-jumping in exotic locales or the fact that you only wear colors of your favorite sports team – whatever it is, love it, own it and don’t make excuses for it. Attempt balance in life…confidence with humility, strength with vulnerability, selfishness with compassion, sexiness with cuteness, work with play. Be cool on the outside but embrace your inner dork. Just for the halibut, I'm giving meetville a shot- but I feel like a fish out of water here, just floundering, and I'm hoping to reel it in. Perch-ance you feel the same?- For me, this means that sarcasm, bad puns, and affectionate teasing lead to a happy place, flakiness is no bueno, and a decent iced coffee is worth crossing three lanes of traffic (without using a blinker, of course). I like to be outside-- over the past few months I've gotten to go sailing and paddleboarding, hear some outdoor concerts, play over-the-line (badly, but getting better!), bike to a beer festival on the tall ships, feed the giraffes, hike some trails that were new to me, etc. I love to travel, too-). For music, I enjoy just about anything energetic or with a horn section-- my recently-played list includes Q-; U2. I have been told that I am kind of high energy- maybe it's all the coffee?- although I enjoy relaxing activities, too, like hanging out on the beach, reading, the spa, etc. So that's me. As for you, I would like to meet someone near my age who is kind, smart, responsible, honest, and who wants a relationship that will last, possibly including children. Just a heads up in case the following things are important to you- although I love them, I'm super allergic to dogs and cats; I'm not religious; and I'm not ***or smoker friendly in a relationship (but I don't care what your/my friends do).
