My friends would probably describe me as sincere, compassionate, sweet, funny, adventurous, and artistic. Looking for a local guy who loves Christ, has a sense of humor, and whom I can make great memories with (:

Hello!! Not sure I'm ready to dive in but I'm testing the water out!! I'd love to eventually settle down and get married, but right now hoping to take things slow, get to know you and possibly have some fun! Been feeling a little deprived lately and really appreciate all the little things in life. I was telling a coworker the other day I haven't been to a movie since last summer and its been months since I last stepped foot into a nice restaurant. I have my hands full at the moment and have a busy life. But I think there is always room for the possibility of meeting someone special and spending time together. I'm out of a four year relationship and am a newly single mom of a very special little boy. Just moved into a beautiful townhouse and am enjoying looking for new decor and ways to make this place a cozy home for myself and my son. I have a good job that I have been at for the past fifteen years. Life right now is about new beginnings. I don't need to find a man to support me financially or find a father for my son, as he has one that loves him lots. But it would be nice to have companionship, good conversation, someone to go do fun stuff with!! My life the past few years has been filled with a lot of hardships and I'm thinking I may be overdue for some good things to come along! I used to snow ski, cross country with family and downhill with friends. I cried when my parents sold their boat years ago because it meant no more water skiing. I also grew up tent camping with family and loved it, but haven't done much of that since I was in my twenties. I've swam with sting rays and went sky diving once with four other brave ladies from my work. I hope to add swimming with Dolphins to my list and would love to visit somewhere tropical again. And I absolutely can't wait to do some of those great 'firsts' with my son like taking him to the Zoo and The children's museum. Hopefully we will get to go to Disneyland and do all the exciting rides! Right now I spend a lot of my free time reading and watching movies. I have very diverse interests but fantasy and science fiction is up at the top. My health and my son's health is my current priority and so we have to enjoy the little things like stroller rides in the park and quiet moments at home. I've been through a slew of health problems and my son is currently a frequent visitor at Doernbecher's Children Hospital. I'm learning to be a very positive and hopeful individual through this experience. My faith is important to me and gets me through the hard times. My son is the best thing to happen to me so far in my life and I love being a new mother. Update: Finally went to movies!...but World War Z was better! Added a cleavage shot, I have extra pounds but not without appeal! Wanting to meet someone who is smart and likes some of the same stuff I do. Life got suddenly more stressful and I would like to go out and have some fun. A short first date is preferable, to see if there is chemistry or not. This means a coffee date or just drinks. Dinner out would be a second date. It's all about the conversation and what we have in common. If we hit it off, we could combine the 1st and 2nd date. :). Movies are fun but not until later, because you can't talk and get to know someone.

While out with my friend she created a profile for me so we could check out what meetville is all about. My initial thought was "no way", but after visiting a few profiles, I was surprised to find some professionals, like myself who were looking to meet someone to hang out with or who knows... . So she took my picture (one on profile) and I figured, "what the heck!". I don't have a problem meeting people, but I find that the older I get, the opportunities to meet quality individuals becomes more difficult. Not exactly 20 anymore and haven't stepped foot in a nightclub since. I have other obligations and the person I want to meet is not the kind of person you would find out clubbing, especially in their 30's. I however, am not opposed to having drinks while watching a good band or concert or a few beers during the game or around a camp fire. I work alot during the week, so on the weekend I like to get outdoors (weather permitting) and do something, anything. I like to canoe, take leisurely bike rides out in nature, or just a ride in the country with the top off my Jeep. I am a low maintenance, nature loving Hippie of sorts - minus the drugs and free love! I often, on the spur of the moment like to go on what I call "mini excursions" or "fieldtrips" which could be anything from going away to a spa or camping for the weekend or a day trip to McConnell's Mill or to a petting zoo to check out the animals. I love to travel and go on vacation as often as possible...I can. Also, who doesn't love a good beach and the sun; I know I do. While adventurous, I don't like heights so you won't see me bungee jumping or skydiving. I will be the girl on the ground waving lovingly as you descend and praying for your safe landing. In short, I love life, seeing new things, taking it all in. If you *** I respond.. we will just have to see where it goes. Worst case, you will make a good friend out of it. However, if I don't respond to your ***, don't take it personal. It probably wasn't meant to be. Peace. Meet in public for drinks or dinner. A girls gotta have witnesses, right? Haha.
