So about me...I'm a 37 year old single mother of a beautiful well adjusted 14 year old daughter. She brightens my day and has certainly kept me going at times. I enjoy spending my free time watching my daughter on the Soccer field (as that is serious business, lol) going to the beach or laying by the pool. I also enjoy fishing which I don't get to do often. I am not high maintenance and can enjoy going out to dinner or staying in and cooking and watching a movie. I like natural beauty. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and my hair is well…curly so there’s not but so much I can do there, lol. I don’t like to be the center of attention; I don’t feel the need to draw tons of attention to myself. When I go places I tend to focus on the people that I am with *** trying to draw attention from those I am not. I’m not big on hot spots or the bar scene as I prefer places where I can actually talk to and hear the people that I am with. I guess to some that could be boring but at this stage in my life I am past all of that.I asked my friends how they would describe me and they said I am funny, sarcastic, loyal, intense, impatient at times, happy, trustworthy, head strong and honest. I care deeply for my friends and family and will go above and beyond for them sometimes at the expense of myself. I figure your lucky enough in this life to have people truly love and care about you why not return it, we only live once so we may as well make the best of it :)I love listening to music, talking and reading trashy romance novels...a guilty pleasure for sure. I don't watch to much TV but that is usually because I have found a book more interesting. I like to stay up late even if it means I have a hard time getting up in the morning. I enjoy snuggling up for an afternoon nap on a cold and rainy day. I like to hop in the car for spur of the moment road trips. Its fun to be a tourist sometimes. I am not superficial I don't want someone who is all about material things. I am ready to meet someone who I feel like is excited to talk to me and get to know me. I want a happily ever after as corny as that may sound. I want someone to share life with. I am not the girl that you have to wonder what she is thinking or where you stand. I have a lot to offer someone who is truly interested and I hope that is in God’s plan for me. If not I will make the best of what I do have, but I am not ready to settle for being alone forever just yet. I am hoping to find someone that is honest, dependable, trustworthy and can keep up with me. I love to laugh so a good sense of humor and someone that can carry on a conversation is a big plus in my book. I don't always have a lot of free time but I will make time for the people that I care about and I will definitely make time for someone that could be a good match for me on here. Well, let's see. Fun fact: My laugh makes others laugh. I truly believe laughter IS the best medicine. I love hanging out with friends and having a fun time. I can be serious but I love to leave that at work. I have one child that I adopted and is now grown whom I love with all my heart. Family matters...period. I've learned to stand on my own but miss having someone to stand with. Most of my off time is spent with friends. I love being out on the shooting range, rock crawling, kayaking-anything that gets me out doing something. I'm not a city girl and I'm not a hard core country girl. I'm somewhere in between. I've been single for a while now and I'm looking to change that a bit although I'm not sure what direction I'm headed. I'm letting life guide me and I like the woman I'm becoming on the way. I'm not a tiny lady. For various reasons skinny does not describe me right this moment but I'm working hard at it. Healthy is a better choice these days. I've lost 80 lbs and I've done it by working out. I enjoy being healthy again. Skinny is still not the word that fits me and if that is something you are looking for then it's not me--and that's okay--we all have a type and I'm not hurt that I'm not it for everyone. I may not be the "hottest" girl in the world--but I'm a damn good catch :) LOL!!! Also--please have a pic if you message me.
