I am really the outdoors type and so I travel and camp often! I am just as comfortable kicking back at home watching a movie or getting all dressed up for a night on the town. Lastly, I have a 21-year old son who is a Lance Corporal with the Marine Corps and frankly I would not be who or where I am in life without him. He is truly an inspiration. I must add, I do not mind dating someone with children as I was a single mom at one time; and if you can’t tell by now I enjoy being with kids. As far as relationships, I believe that the little things really do count. Love, romance, and just enjoying each others company - doing special little things for each other. I do believe life-long love is out there! I guess I am a romantic. I am looking for companionship with the hopes of it turning into something long term. I pair best with a fun loving romantic partner, who shares most of the interests I have. I am looking for that inexplicable chemistry that cannot be summed up in just a few words. I am looking for an outgoing man with a positive and energetic side who also enjoys staying active, working out and taking care of himself. Appearance is a huge deal to me, and it should also be for him. I do place a lot of value on a person's word. I was raised to believe that you shouldn't make promises you can't keep and this is a huge pet peeve of mine so if you are into being a yes man and then later back pedaling, then please move on and not waste either of our time. I think that compliments my traditional attitude. I feel that the man should lead, protect, and provide but also know how to respect a good woman. You must be stable, unattached, not going through a divorce, and just drama free. I am and have actually achieved quite a balance in my life as a result. I am sorry but as a woman who must take precautions meeting you at your house is out of the question. I really think that text and *** out of control. A first meeting or date should be preceded by some telephone conversation just to get a feel for the person.

Well, let's see. Fun fact: My laugh makes others laugh. I truly believe laughter IS the best medicine. I love hanging out with friends and having a fun time. I can be serious but I love to leave that at work. I have one child that I adopted and is now grown whom I love with all my heart. Family matters...period. I've learned to stand on my own but miss having someone to stand with. Most of my off time is spent with friends. I love being out on the shooting range, rock crawling, kayaking-anything that gets me out doing something. I'm not a city girl and I'm not a hard core country girl. I'm somewhere in between. I've been single for a while now and I'm looking to change that a bit although I'm not sure what direction I'm headed. I'm letting life guide me and I like the woman I'm becoming on the way. I'm not a tiny lady. For various reasons skinny does not describe me right this moment but I'm working hard at it. Healthy is a better choice these days. I've lost 80 lbs and I've done it by working out. I enjoy being healthy again. Skinny is still not the word that fits me and if that is something you are looking for then it's not me--and that's okay--we all have a type and I'm not hurt that I'm not it for everyone.
