Hey everyone out there reading this,I am a 30/female, university student, finishing my Bachelor's degree within the year. Looking to meet someone who I can get along with, who understands my kind of weird. I moved to the coast a few years ago from the interior, looking for chance, opportunity and excitement...I enjoy outdoor music festivals, traveling, camping, hiking, hanging out and having casual drinks with friends, daring adventures, concerts, dirty hole in the wall pubs (those end up being the best of times), midnight drives, old movies, funny people, intelligent but outrageous conversations and making up crackpot theories of nonsense. As for what sort of guy I'm looking for... well, I'm not that picky, really... a guy that has a wide sense of humor, confidence, witty with an open mind and sarcastic streak, as well as some sort of intelligence mixed in with a little common sense. Given the impressive task to sum myself up in a few short words leaves me a little at a loss of words for what to say... However, what I do know is this:I am a bit of a book nerd. I like big words, nerdy pop-culture references, and I dearly love to laugh. I love being outdoors, but don't go out into the wilderness nearly enough. I love Movies, Theatre, and chocolate- not necessarily in that order. I enjoy evenings with friends, exploring new things, and like to think that everything deserves to be tried at least once... although talking myself into some things may take a few extra moments (re: Sky diving, bungee jumping, yeti hunting...). Is it just me, or is this the awkward part? Listing off things that you like, qualities that you believe you possess, as well as those you feel that you seek in others... it reminds me of the autobiography I had to write in third grade and then read in front of the class. Lol. That being said, here goes:I have an open mind and value honest conversation. I can be quite serious and partake in engaging subjects, but I'm also no stranger to being goofy and playfully sarcastic. I think that I'm more independent than most women, but I still appreciate genteelness in men :) Most people would describe me as friendly, and polite, and these are also qualities that I greatly admire in men. Confidence can be attractive, but a little bit of humility goes a long way as well. Some of my favorite hobbies include photography (I own a lovely Nikon dslr), creative writing, and reading. I love music (who doesn't? I enjoy going out, but I'm also just as comfortable at home. "Meet me." Oh meetville... why isn't there a "let's chat?" I don't trust an Internet dating website enough to meet someone without getting a feel for their personality first: I'm not looking to meet up with anyone this weekend (perpetually), but I'd love to chat, so drop me a line. If the conversation flows comfortably, the rest will fall into place :)
