Hmm something about me. . . I guess my hobbies are playing the occasional video game, reading, drawing, camping, watching tv/movies, I like anime and manga/comic books. Basically I am a bit of a nerd. I have glasses and everything thing! (Perhaps to hide my secret identity!! . . . Lame? Well this is sort of awkward anyway). I am a big fan of sci-fi/fantasy, I love shows like BBC's Sherlock, NCIS, Stargate, Duck Dynasty etc. LOTR is one of my favorite movie series as well as Star Wars. I haven't seen all the Star Trek movies, just the newest ones, I am a giant wienie with horror movies. FYI I jump, I have screamed and I do latch on with a death grip when scared senseless :D I am currently going to school to get my nursing degree, I started working full time right out of high school because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Family is pretty important to me and many of my friends I consider to be adopted family members so having someone who understands that would be good :D. I tend to be shy when first meeting people or in large groups of people I don't know. I do open up pretty easily though :D. I am the type that may not have a billion *** rather am one who forms close, everlasting bonds with a select few. I do have a sense of humor but I don't like making fun of people, playing pranks or belittling them except for girls who do duckface. . . It's not pretty peoples, I don't know what makes someone do that! I'm not very good at sports and am frequently embarrassed anytime I try to do something athletic when people are watching, usually I can laugh it off but it is rather awkward. Just ask me, I have all sorts of funny embarrassing stories about me trying to do something :DI'm just going to put it out there that I am looking for long term not friends with benefits. That being said, I'm not expecting to get married right after meeting someone for the first time either. I consider myself an honest, hard working and respectful person and would love to meet someone who shares some of the same interests and values that I do. I think one of the most important things in a relationship is respect and that everyone's opinions should be respected. It's silly to expect that your significant other be a carbon copy of your opinions but in a second body. Please don't try to impose your opinions and beliefs on me. I will respect yours so please do me the kindness of respecting mine. I consider myself a pretty caring person and I will warn you guys that I can get pretty passionate about defending peoples rights. I wouldn't say I am an activist but listening to people being degraded is enough to get my hackles raised about stereotypes and unfair labeling. I really dislike it when someone says 'they are all the same", it's not cool to lump people in together. I don't like to be judged so I try not to judge people until they give me a reason :D I have a tattoo and am planing to get another one sometime. Because of my planned occupation (nursing) I can't have any in obvious areas. I don't mind if a guy has some either :D. I tend to listen to many different kinds of music (except for rap or country). I want to learn how to play either the piano or violin sometime in the future, hopefully soon.:D I totally started every sentence about me! Hah! I can be serious sometimes (mainly about school and family) but I think I`m pretty easygoing as well. I don`t mind experiencing new things either, so if you like to do something then share it. How am I to know if I like something if I don`t try it right? I'm the type to care more about the time spent together than actually what we are doing. I like going out but I also like just being with the other person.Every relationship has conflict at some point or another, I prefer to talk about the issue rather than blowing up at each other. I understand that sometimes people just get angry and say things they don't mean. I can say I am sorry and that I was wrong, I hope you can to. I know it`s corny but the key to a long lasting relationship really is the ability to converse. I actually care about what my partner wants, feels and expects from me so you need to be able to tell me. Be prepared for silliness and random comments also :D I have held in depth conversations about the difference between new world zombies versus old world zombies and what to do in the event of the zombie apocalypse. More than likely coffee or tea. Maybe go for lunch. Basically somewhere where we can talk a little and get to know each other.

Describing my personality with one word is virtually impossible for me because I'm like a Rubix cube! I've got many different sides and most of the time they're all jumbled together willy nilly. I'll do my best to break down a few and maybe, if you like what you see, you can meet the rest in person! 1.) Country Girl: I grew up in a small town (wheat field for a downtown kind of place!) and as a result, have a fondness for things like quadding, fishing, line dancing and catching frogs with my bare hands. I also love me some country music.2.) Adrenaline Junkie: I have always had a bit of a crazy, foolhardy side -. I'm always first in line for the biggest, baddest roller coaster and rarely back down from a challenge.3.) Bookworm: I'm in love with the English language and have a knack for words.4.) Free Thinker: I try to form my own opinions and even if I don't necessarily believe in something, I won't discredit it. I enjoy having meaningful conversations about important issues. 5.) Treehugger: I'm studying Environmental Technology so this one is pretty much a given! I compost and recycle, try to be an ethical consumer and am a big fan of permaculture! - I love the Earth and try to make conscious decisions daily to reduce my environmental footprint.6.) Traveler: I love going on adventures - traveled through Europe in ***, lived for a year in Australia in ***and just got back from a ***km road trip through the US. Traveling is a big passion of mine and one day I'd like to do a round the world trip. 7.) Music Lover: I like the kind of bands that play at Sasquatch and Rock the Shores. etc... I also love country, old school rock and roll and anything really funky or upbeat! Dance music can be a lot of fun too!8.) Party animal: I love to dance - live shows are the best! I like to drink and my tastes range from that of an old man - porters, whiskeys and rum & cokes to that of a teenage girl - fruity ciders, green apple vodka and porn star shots! I know how to have a really good time.9.) Hopeless Romantic: I grew up, like many women, watching romcoms and dreaming about being swept off of my feet one day.
