I'm never sure what to write here...I've been off and on here a few times, never really sure what's best for me. I have a job I love, great friends, fantastic family (albeit in a different province!.. I really only seem to be missing that special someone to share it all with. I work hard, and can work long, but I make time for the important people.I work in sports, play sports, watch sports ... it's a big part of my life, so anyone I'm with has to share some of those interests. I just finished and got my degree from the U of A. I am waiting to get a job in my chosen field, but in the meantime I am working a professional job to pay the bills and keep some spending money in my pocket. Grad school and working on my Masters is also in the near future. I like staying active and being fit. I work out in order to stay healthy, I would rather be doing many other things than being at the gym, but I want to live a healthy lifestyle. I stay active to feel good, not to try and look good, I am not into the whole GTL thing. I also enjoy baseball and was fortunate enough to get to play at a high level. I also have had the opportunity to work for a few pro sports teams (baseball mostly) and those were definitely some fun and interesting experiences. I am big into sports in general.I also like movies and hanging out with friends and family. I like history and enjoy staying up to date with politics. I recently got into traveling and cannot wait to be able to get out and see more of the world. I also enjoy reading and learning about new things. Guitar is another fun thing I enjoy as well as building/fixing things with tools. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do volunteering with kids and teens and really it does not seem like volunteering because it is a blast. I am the type of person that if I have $10 dollars, I would rather donate/spend or use $5 on someone else.I am old fashion and believe in opening doors and pulling out chairs for a lady. I prefer to be the nice guy, even if they do finish last. Flowers are always a nice touch as well. I believe you take care of your lady, give her attention she deserves and make her feel special, but with that being said I am definitely not clingy and believe in a girl having girls nights with her friends and I get out at least once a week to play hockey with the boys.I like to use humor and joke around cause life is more fun when your laughing!! I truly believe in the power of positive thinking. Why count and focus on your problems when you can enjoy and make the most of your blessings. Life is too short to waste being unhappy so I try to alway make the most being happy each day. I am a very happy and positive person and just enjoy everyday and all the opportunities life has to offer. Something fun that makes you feel like you are in the third grade on a field trip. Maybe something sports related like mini golf or BATTING CAGES!! Coffee, a drink or a meal works too.
