I am probably the most Nordic-looking Latina you’ll ever meet. I suppose the best way I can describe it is to liken it to the traditional Italian culture but with a Latin influence: strong family ties, good food, great wine, a love for dancing and singing and general merriment. I spend my 8 to 5 helping corporations relocate their employees successfully from one part of the globe to another, which is not a surprise, given I was once a stranger in a strange land myself. I’ve been in the industry for over 15 years and have enjoyed every single day. From the early days when I used to take customers around to help them navigate the DMV and Social Security systems to the time I spent trying to help them find a home or school, or get situated in a new culture and environment, to my now not less important role of helping companies develop best practices and policies that would ease the transition of those that embark themselves in this type of adventure.“other family” here: my friends, who are the closest thing I have to family. Whether it is by meeting for dinner out, cooking and staying in, going to a movie or a show or simply going to a happy hour, I do what I can to stay in touch and close to them. I am a very social person and make friends very easily, although I may seem shy in the beginning. I enjoy a wide variety of activities, day and night, in and out. I like cooking and entertaining but also like dinning out and attending social gatherings from an intimate dinner to a big party. If you enjoy catching an independent movie and deconstructing the plot afterwards over drinks or dinner, or don’t scare easy at my “let’s see how does worse at bowling” challenge, we’ll probably have a lot of fun together. I am curious about the world. I have quite an inquisitive mind and am always eager to learn something new. I’m honest and loyal and have a good heart. I’m affectionate and sweet and do smile often. I am a happy person with a good sense of humor. I am very engaging and feel very comfortable interacting with other people. I take things as they come and enjoy having a good time. I’d say I manage frustration pretty effectively and move on rather quickly, and rarely regret things I have done. As far as what I'm looking for: someone that I can share some of the things I like with but that would also want to show me new things I may like that haven’t even occur to me just yet. Not too concerned about where he has been but rather where he is going or wants to go. I’m really looking for something meaningful but simple, with someone who is emotionally available. Just one thing: I don’t tend to share a lot in writing. I’m more of a “let’s just meet and see if we click” person than a “let’s exchange random *** texts forever” one.And, like my heading says, I can’t promise it will be perfect, but can guarantee you it will be worth it. Hi! Here is the hard part, right? Well I am a BIG animal lover . I have Horses, Dogs and a Cat. I truly believe anyone who doesn't like animals would not be a good match for me. I have learned to be self sufficent. Own my own home and TRY to maintain it :) But would love to find someone who enjoys spending time at home . Thank GOD i was not a total girly girl during my marriage i would have been so screwed! LOL I have learned how to stain a deck, use a chainsaw, fix a broken fence, etc.. I love a challenge. Bring it on :)I love country music. Spent this summer going to concerts - Kenny Chesney -- Forgot how much fun that could be.Love Motorcycles. Always wanted one but was always told NO! You will kill yourself.... maybe someday . Ha Ha.Enjoy going to dinner and drinks with friends. More of a beer and burgers kind of girl than champagne and caviar. I do clean up well but I am more at home in jeans and boots. I think for a first date it might be nice to just meet for coffee or tea and just see if there is any kind of chemistry. If so then we can always extend the date to lunch or dinner.
