What I'm looking for... I would love to meet someone who is honest, kind, considerate of others and can really make me laugh. Someone that loves to travel, stay busy, and has a love for children. I love the outdoors (camping, fishing, hiking, beach, swimming scalloping, anything outdoors!) and being spontaneous, staying active, playing volleyball, going to sporting events and catching a movie every now and then... There are also days I look forward to just staying home, cooking an amazing dinner and cuddling up on the couch with a glass of wine. (Even better with good company!) (even if she does already have children) I have a lot of great, wonderful friends that would describe me as a wonderful mother, an honest, trustworthy, fun loving, God fearing woman. I guess you'll have to be the judge! I love to laugh at myself although I can recognize there are times to be serious. God has a plan for each and every one of us... And through my divorce I've come to realize that he is in control of everything and I have so much to be thankful for... I do have five children, all from my ex husband. So, if this deters you in the slightest, this probably isn't going to work. They are absolute blessings and will one day be able to share their bright personalities with the one lucky enough to meet them. I'm back in college full time studying for my RN now. I'm also running a little jewelry business on the side so I can continue my education, make ends meet and take care of my kids. I drive an old van but it gets me from point A to point B. A brand new vehicle just isn't on my priority list at the moment. So, to wrap things up, I don't have a lot of money but I have a big heart, I have my priorities straight, I accomplish my goals, I have a great sense of a humor, I know what I'm looking for and what I want out of life. And most importantly, I won't disrespect you so please show me a little respect and move on if a relationship isn't what you're looking for. I understand that it will take trial and error to find the right person but fitting one night stands into that equation just isn't my style. Okay! With all that said, I hope this gets a little bit easier!! :)No secrets here and I have nothing to hide... Diving into each other's personalities is the most important part of any first date, in my opinion... If there's no immediate connection there shouldn't be a huge waste of time or money. Of course, I'm attracted to the guy with the good looks, great sense of humor and charming romantic side...everyone would have to agree that exterior impression is a very powerful thing. But I'm mesmerized by that guy that seduces me with his inner-appearance. Getting to know someone is easy online so I've been quite overwhelmed with all the adventurous, funny, good looking guys on here. I'll come straight out and say I'm not that kind of woman that takes/sends pics of myself (believe me, I'm very comfortable with my appearance)...I'm not impressed by money (i'm not a materialistic kind of girl)...and I'm not willing to step in and be play mommy but I do love kids (I'm a single mom of a teenager who keeps me pretty active mentally, physically and financially but I have been really lucky because she is an awesome kid!) However, I am that kind of woman that is very laid back, just wanting to hang out relaxing or doing something adventurous...love my Redskins, Caps and Nats...no matter what! I'm a sucker for romantic novels and love to get lost in those reality tv shows from time to time. My newest interest is hiking; it's great exercise and way to clear my mind from a busy week of work.-appearance to go with those good looks! Drinks or coffee.
