Of course, I'm attracted to the guy with the good looks, great sense of humor and charming romantic side...everyone would have to agree that exterior impression is a very powerful thing. But I'm mesmerized by that guy that seduces me with his inner-appearance. I'll come straight out and say I'm not that kind of woman that takes/sends pics of myself (believe me, I'm very comfortable with my appearance)...I'm not impressed by money (i'm not a materialistic kind of girl)...and I'm not willing to step in and be play mommy but I do love kids (I'm a single mom of a teenager who keeps me pretty active mentally, physically and financially but I have been really lucky because she is an awesome kid!) However, I am that kind of woman that is very laid back, just wanting to hang out relaxing or doing something adventurous...love my Redskins, Caps and Nats...no matter what! I'm a sucker for romantic novels and love to get lost in those reality tv shows from time to time. My newest interest is hiking; it's great exercise and way to clear my mind from a busy week of work.-appearance to go with those good looks! Drinks or coffee.

I am a very active person. A few activities I enjoy are sporting events (especially live sports), church, theatre, and hanging out with my friends.I work full time and recently completed my undergrad with plans to continue on to grad school in the near future. I hope to grow within the organization I work for. I also am a mentor of a pretty active 7th grader who I enjoy a lot. Mentoring is so important and I believe anyone who is able and has time, should really think about mentoring. There is such a demand of children in the area who would like a mentor, sadly there are not enough mentors. I hope to get more involved within the community, focusing on the youth. I am a former HeadStart teacher and have a true passion for children's development...and feel that all children should have the same opportunities. ..ok, let me get off my soapbox, because I could go on and on:) I am a happy person and choose to surround myself with positive people.
