My favorite author writes historical fiction, but I enjoy all genres and will read anything put in front of me., Damien Rice, etc. I feel like current music is mostly a rehash nobody's doing anything new right now. I'd love to have someone prove me wrong on that one. Movies...I like all kinds. I tend to watch particular actors *** genres - Shows - The Last Five Years, Into the Woods, Three Days of Rain, and Shakespeare. For both movies and shows I also like indie or things that push the envelope. As I've said, I love trying new things and have a long list of things to do - finish my SCUBA certification, learn to sail, try a triathlon, visit all 7 continents, finish visiting the 50 states... I'm a transplant, and I really enjoy it here. There's easy access to the ocean, mountains, NYC, DC, breweries, wineries, festivals, etc. one of my favorite things to do is drive down to VA, hit some wineries or breweries, go hiking & picnic in the Shenandoahs, then head home - maybe getting dinner or hitting one more winery on the way back.On another note, no offense intended at all, but please don't message me if you are under 34. I am a country girl. I love to fish, mushroom hunt, garden, cook, sew, love a good beer, margarita, or a bottle of wine. I can cook anything and I am quite good at it. I am a mother first and suffered a horrific tragedy in December, lost my 18 year old son who was a senior in high school. My world as I knew it no longer exists. I have ok days and bad days. If I feel like laying around crying all day I do. I now ahave 3 adult children and 3 children still at home, 16, 14 and 10. I work part time right now but getting ready to go back to work full time. I love kids, animals, and Harleys but if you dont own one it is not a deal breaker. I will be a Grandma in October. I would love to travel more, Vegas, the beaches, a cruise etc.... Right now a getaway sounds good! Every one I know says I am like the strongest woman they know, looks can be decieving. I am strong willed(stubborn) and will not change my vaues or beliefs for anyone. I dont own a $***purse or much of anything fancy, material things mean nothing to me. . .I do get my hair and nails done and tan but fine getting hair messed up and dirt under my nails! Life is short, live it to the fullest and never look back and say could of should of, follow your dreams! Would have to decide!
