About Me

First my studies and then my job took me to different places, and this contributed to shaping me: a well-traveled person that enjoys and appreciates different cultures and people, respectful of difference, and curious to learn. Family and friends are important to me: in any place I lived I have been able to form meaningful friendships that have persisted to this day, and I am good at keeping in touch with my friends wherever they are. While I enjoy quiet evenings at home and the art of cooking, I also love to go out to listen to live music (especially jazz and classical, but also trip hop), visit art exhibits, and watch good films, or simply for a cup of coffee. Nights out are special, I think, and foreign cinema is a passion of mine. This is me in a nutshell, there is much more…but if what we do reveals who we are, it's a good start. I would like to meet a man who could become my companion and a partner in life: I do not have preconceived ideas as reality often transcends expectations, but I consider sharing some of the same interests and outlook, along with passion and love for our professional career, important.

    I am a country girl. I love to fish, mushroom hunt, garden, cook, sew, love a good beer, margarita, or a bottle of wine. I can cook anything and I am quite good at it. I am a mother first and suffered a horrific tragedy in December, lost my 18 year old son who was a senior in high school. My world as I knew it no longer exists. I have ok days and bad days. If I feel like laying around crying all day I do. I now ahave 3 adult children and 3 children still at home, 16, 14 and 10. I work part time right now but getting ready to go back to work full time. Life is short, live it to the fullest and never look back and say could of should of, follow your dreams! Would have to decide!
