I am a single dad to 2 boys. They are 11 and 6. I am also big into reading. I enjoy reading biographies, military/US/European history, spy novels and sports books. A first date really depends upon the individual you will be out with. In order for each of us to feel comfortable and relaxed, it is essential that we find something in common to do. Dinner is great as long as it is someplace where we can hear each other talk. The movie thing is not too good for a first date. A first date should be about getting to know each other. Maybe meeting for a drink or visiting the Art Center or Historical Building where we can walk and talk.
