I'm a different kind of woman, unlike anyone you will ever meet. In regards to what I'm looking for, I'm pretty open to whatever happens, whether it's friendship or ultimately something serious. I graduated with my BS in Nursing over two years ago, and I work as an RN. Nursing is an absolute passion of mine, and I consider myself very fortunate to love my career so much.I spend as much time outside as possible. There aren't many outdoor activities that I love and/or am not open to trying. I love spending time in nature, but appreciate good books and movies as well. I'm a proud nerd and wouldn't change it! I'm absolutely an animal lover and have never not had at least one cat. I'm very close with my family, as well as the friends I consider family. :-) I'll put it up front that I'm not a drinker or drug user. I'm actually in recovery, and am very active in that. Feel free to ask about it! This doesn't mean that I don't ever go out. I'm just not intoxicated when I do go (not that it always appears that way...I can definitely be a goofball sometimes). Please know that it's more than fine with me if you drink moderately. I'm totally happy to make you a drink (and dinner!) or grab you a beer at the end of the day. However, I do ask that you don't do drugs, please.I tend to be most attracted to women who are intelligent (this has nothing to do with formal education), quirky, honest, open-minded, and appreciative of the "little things" that are so easy to overlook. I'm a laid-back person who is emotionally stable and not at all high-maintenance, and I tend to look for the same. Above all, just be yourself! I've been told that I have an infectious smile and laugh. I'm a total dork, and I'm a kind, sensitive, non-judgmental person, and I have a great appreciation for new experiences of any kind. There is so much to see and do and I love to make the most of it. ...I'm terrible at these things, but here it goes...I love how music can change your mood or help you feel out whichever emotion you are in at the time. For that, my music taste is really all over the board. Anything from Macklemore to The Dream, to dub-step and electronica, I love 90's R&B, blues/jazz, 80's jams with Cyndi Lauper and Madonna.I have started a new hobby that I am really enjoying, which is woodworking. I would really like to get stronger at it. Learning how to make tables and bookshelves and jazz. Outside of that, scrap booking is always my staple hobby, also I love bike riding. I am not sure one can call that a hobby, but it's an activity that I love very much! Along with anything outdoors....I love camping, backpacking, being active, canoeing, (want to try kayaking before the summer is over), ultimate frisbee....So my seven year old niece and I counted the star tattoos I have on my arm and we came up with 47 of them! Plus, I have 13 other tats. So, potentially, I could say I have 60 tattoos!! Or simply, 14. :) It's always in my head, what should I get next. Family is a huge part of my life, especially my nieces and nephews. Currently, I'm going to work (I love my jobs, so it's never a struggle to go), bike riding, playing with my pup, and seeking adventure as much as possible. Always willing to try new and different things, and anything on a whim! ....I'm completely open....
