Unfortunately (or fortunately) I'm in a rather odd niche of gay men. I find lurid options tiresome. In plain speak hooking up me no likey. Majored in Music Business with a minor in creative writing. Difficult to put some important things here since they segment into so many other different things. So let's break this puppy down:a) I'm an artist - creativity and imagination I've been given and I try to use (even as a banker). Singer & writer, would love to perform. I do have music online if you'd like to hear!b) If you like to have fun, laugh (you'd be surprised...), play board/video/card games, family guy... I'm a bigger guy, working on losing some weight. If that's a no-no, well...we're all adults.d) From a big family. Catholic homeschoolers - best of the bunch. six siblings who are my closest friends.e) I come from a family who likes to party and is always looking for a reason to party. This includes but is not limited to: house parties, wine with christmas music playing in the background, writing in children's textbooks, loud music, dancing, appetizers, laughing till you cry...and so on. Smoking of pipe and cigars lezz do it. Cigs and ***please swag your way away.f) ....we'll leave this to later. Let's see, I'm supposed to talk about myself. I'm not going to be one of those that says I hate doing that. Mainly because "me" is the only subject that I can speak on with absolute certainty. And besides, that's the point of all this, isn't it? I mean the idea is for you to get to know enough about me that you sort of know what I'm about and if we'd be good together. So here goes.I'm a dork. I mean I know I chose homebody back up there somewhere but I figured that more accurately describes how I spend my time. I'm not one for going out to the clubs or bars and getting trashed. Though as an occasional thing even that has its place. But I'm getting off track. I tend to ramble, we'll call it an endearing quirk. Anyway, the dork thing. I love my video games, mostly RPGs or just about anything with a scifi/fantasy twist to it. I'm a pretty big Doctor Who fan, to the extent that I dressed up like the 11th for Halloween. Though my love of bow ties may have played a part there too. Also, I love bow ties. I feel like that's a pretty dorky thing, though maybe it's becoming cool again. Or I could be deluding myself, that's always a possibility. (Though for any fellow Whovians out there, bowties will always be cool, and so will fezzes *dont worry, I'll rock a bowtie occasionally but I don't have a fez*) Oh, I love to read. Once I get hooked in a book I will read it for hours a day until I finish it. And, like my video games I enjoy mostly scifi/fantasy stuff there too. Alright, I figure that's enough to give you an idea about me. I'm a pretty open book though so just ask me if you've got any questions. I look forward to hearing from ya. Hmmm. I've usually gone the traditional route with first dates. The whole dinner and a movie thing. Though I wouldn't mind doing something non-traditional ***, how cute would it be to take a cooking class together for a first date? Or maybe take in a play or something. Anywho, I guess the takeaway here is that I'm pretty flexible where the first date is concerned. As long as it's something fun and gives us an opportunity to learn about each other a little bit that's the important thing.
