About me: I recently got out of a 7 year relationship/engagement in which our vast differences couldn't be overcome; needless to say I've certainly realized the importance of moral compatibility and mutual respect. I did get a beautiful daughter out of the experience who is now 5 and I firmly believe that things happen for a reason, even though understanding that reason may come much later! I work f/t, am a single mother, and am in graduate school, however, I wouldn't mind meeting somebody that sparks my interest enough to occupy what little free time I have. And if you think burning jello is sexy, than I'm your girl ;-) I am very intimidated to put myself out there in this fashion, as this is my first go around with online dating but I am trying to be a bit more adventurous lol. I would much rather meet somebody in person but supposedly this is the new way to meet others/socialize so I'm receptive, albeit still cautious. I do have some deal breakers: criminal record, drug user, smoker (even the occasional "puff"-- it's a total turn off!), lack of license/transportation, and if you have no goals or a career, I'm not going to be interested. My biggest pet peeve in communication is an error in spelling. I also feel that recent pictures are important; I am not shallow however I've met a couple of people who look dramatically different in person which just irks me! Lol Lastly, I have no problem being alone, but I have realized that I definitely miss having a connection with somebody, text messages that make me smile, and the anticipation of seeing them. Hmm. Amusement park. Beach at night. Sox game. Concert. I like all kinds of music but country is my favorite. I'm a sucker for good conversation and I'm pretty low-frills.I have always been the one to coordinate plans so it would be awesome to be surprised for once! : )

    A little about me....I am sparkly and magical (and yes, I have even used that description in a job interview and it was well received). I am a mom (mamadaddy) and it is the most challenging, rewarding and incredible experience I have had the privilege of being a part of. I am a nurse, I work with babies, very early and very sick, it is hard at times, but definitely a career I am meant for and it has taken two degrees and 8 years of university and living in Europe 3 times to get to, but I can honestly say...I love going to work. Walks and the park with my son and crazy puppy, the zoo, museums, dancing...specifically to live drums with any kind of jingles on my hips makes my soul happy, open to trying most things fun!I would love to meet someone with a genuinely good heart...who's smile melts me...who isn't afraid to be honest, regardless of what they are being honest about...we all have a story that has made us who we are...supportive and understanding...mature but capable of fun...respectful...has a desire to have a family...I am pretty down to earth, I like silly, fun, bright, happy, honest, respectful and intelligent.
