About Me

About me: I recently got out of a 7 year relationship/engagement in which our vast differences couldn't be overcome; needless to say I've certainly realized the importance of moral compatibility and mutual respect. I did get a beautiful daughter out of the experience who is now 5 and I firmly believe that things happen for a reason, even though understanding that reason may come much later! I work f/t, am a single mother, and am in graduate school, however, I wouldn't mind meeting somebody that sparks my interest enough to occupy what little free time I have. And if you think burning jello is sexy, than I'm your girl ;-) I am very intimidated to put myself out there in this fashion, as this is my first go around with online dating but I am trying to be a bit more adventurous lol. I would much rather meet somebody in person but supposedly this is the new way to meet others/socialize so I'm receptive, albeit still cautious. I do have some deal breakers: criminal record, drug user, smoker (even the occasional "puff"-- it's a total turn off!), lack of license/transportation, and if you have no goals or a career, I'm not going to be interested. My biggest pet peeve in communication is an error in spelling. I also feel that recent pictures are important; I am not shallow however I've met a couple of people who look dramatically different in person which just irks me! Lol Lastly, I have no problem being alone, but I have realized that I definitely miss having a connection with somebody, text messages that make me smile, and the anticipation of seeing them. Hmm. Amusement park. Beach at night. Sox game. Concert. I like all kinds of music but country is my favorite. I'm a sucker for good conversation and I'm pretty low-frills.I have always been the one to coordinate plans so it would be awesome to be surprised for once! : )

Hey guys! I'm Jill. If you are looking for a "good time" or a "friend with benefits" then don't bother messaging me please. I want a relationship. With a real man. I don't expect to fall in love right away, but that is my end goal. I like to cook, I hate to argue, and I love to have fun. I like to go to the beach, the lake, the mountains, pretty much anything outdoors. :) if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask! Xoxo

I was here. I left. I came back. I will update very soon with more info. I lost my long and drawn out novel of a profile. *sigh* don't worry it grows back like a bad haircut. I am a woman of many facets. To try to describe myself to you would be frustrating for me and would only be my perception of self. That being said, I suppose who I am to you depends on what part of me you choose to tap into. Eventually, with enough time invested, you may see it all. Some see me as colorful and vibrant. Energetic, perhaps a little childlike, and soulfully inspired with many ideas, some new and some old. Yes I have a kid and she's almost as tall as me and she specializes in chasing off douches *laugh* I'm kidding. Sense of humor in tact.On the flip side, I can be many things most people can be, such as impatient, intolerant. I can be prideful. There's a whole list of things, but I remain willing to look at myself. I have taken time to look at my past and present behaviors and progress as I learn life lessons. I feel I have come a long way. One KEY thing about me... I do NOT drink. Nor do drugs. I still have plenty of fun I just remember it all now. *smile* I also try my best to live an honest life of principles and values. I will wait as long as it takes to find the one whose values coincide. Ok one more thing. I don't drive. It's a lifestyle choice for me. Something many can't fathom. But I do, and that's what matters :-) So unless you enjoy driving the distance, its best to be fairly local to visit because though I can get places, I can't get everywhere unless I call a taxi and well...that is a luxury I can't afford. If you are of sound spirit, mind, and body (most of the time) I would especially love to talk to you. If your idea of a good time doesn't involve going to a bar that gains you extra bonus points, especially because I don't drink. I probably won't be staying.... Locals seem to really love it here, or at least making the best of it. I am making the best of my temporary time here as well. But it is... temporary. I've had a dream in my mind since age 14 that I would live in NY or a vast city. I have lived on a few beaches in my life and didn't go. Up for a road trip? I'm in! If you just want to hang out and go do fun stuff and random day trips I am good for that too, well, once we meet and greet and all is swell.; HimBjorkFleet FoxesMumford &; OatesPearl JamJohn LennonYeah Yeah YeahsEdith PiafBeach HousePhoenixand so many many more. I'm a total musical freak. Music is ALWAYS on at my place. I'm dead without it seriously... yep... brace yourself! I love dancing. And I love cheese. ;-)Books:Art History booksAnything Charles****nsH.G. WellsTime travel novels Design Magazines (fashion/architectural/home) Something fun that takes away the pressure of the idea of being on "the first date". Doesn't have to be extravagant. A night of bowling could be fun. I think the ideal first date is jumping on a giant trampoline and see who can fly eachother the highest. But that's me. Have a giant trampoline? Bonus points for you. Yes I'm a big kid.
