Upbeat and compassionate vegan who is always looking for the positive things in life. Healthy and fit, since it is my passion...hopefully you are too! :) I like being open-minded, care-free, confident, and someone who believes in the "Law of Attraction". I do appreciate those who share this like-mindedness or similar views about life. I love challenges, be it physical or mental...I have recently completed Tough Mudders, and would love the opportunity to do something really zany like jumping off a plane or traveling to an exotic place on a whim. My mom calls me ambitious. I like the way that sounds, especially coming from her. We are very close and she knows me explicitly. So with that being said, those whom I care deeply about are important to me..hopefully you can value familar ties as well as close friendships. Oh and about that ambitious part; well I am. I would say that I am a passionate person regarding certain things that I value and feel are important. Life is meant to be enjoyed and certain things pursued...if not it lays in someone else's wake.I enjoy many things, from hikes and riding my bike to weight/HIIT training and just being outdoors. I'm not much for watching TV, since I prefer to be engaged in conversation or doing something productive. I am interested in profound and deep conversations about life in general...so intelligence is a must have. I definitely think men who can keep me engaged intellectually are very sexy. :)Humor is also important. If you can make me laugh and don't take life too seriously then thats awesome!I am looking for someone that is never bored, and always has ideas on things to do. Be it from going to shows, traveling, sight seeing, exercising...whatever, just be active! Please be honest and a man of integrity. I am accountable for my actions, and I hope you are too. Communication is key to any relationship, and being able to express yourself openly and genuinely is important...if you are not afraid to express yourself this way than those would be pluses in my book.Lastly, I am looking for something that is more connected then the casual thing: an actual relationship. Hope that didn't frighten you off. Hehe, just kidding (especially for the serious guys that are actually looking for the same thing). I know what I want and I hope you do too! :). Simplicity at its best: a walk in a park (I know the perfect one!) or something ultra fun like spelunking or rock climbing. Do you want to choose? ;)

    -update- So here it is....Let me first start by saying that one of my 'Interests' is Fun. I didn't put that down initially but now that I see so many of you have written 'fun' or 'doing fun things' or 'laughing' etc I don't want anyone to think that I don't also enjoy having fun and laughing. As a matter of fact, I like it more than I like not having fun. And there you have it- right away we have something in common! :)I'm silly sometimes and can laugh at myself (and everyone else), I'm clumsy (and own it! I don't pretend no one saw that!), I am intelligent and enjoy conversation so if you can't put together full sentences than we arent going to get through the first meeting. I need to be stimulated mentally and have healthy debates with another. I have tattoos (one means 'Honest', 'Loyal' and 'Trustworthy') and piercings but a lot of people don't notice, I'll admit when I'm wrong, I'm not perfect!!! I'm nuts, but not crazy. I am very polite and raise my kids with old school values & manners. I hate yelling! I'm equally as comfortable in a five star restaurant as I am on a construction site (though I prefer the job site). My biggest peeve is *** is a choice! Even my "bad" dates are fun- I get along with everyone. I am a single mom & my kids don't meet anyone. That part of my life is separate from my dating life. Honesty is truly the quality that I value most! I am extremely quick witted and sarcastic so you should be willing to accept that! I'm tall! This is true so you should be too! I do wear heels as well! I am very athletic and health conscious and I work out regularly. If your main photo is a photo of your abs I won't read the message- that's great for you but that's not a determining factor for me and I'd rather see a picture of someone being themselves. I had a career and left it to do something I love. I am not looking for someone to support me but please be able to support yourself!!! Have a career, a vehicle, a place where you live-alone. I don't want to visit a frat house or your room in the basement. I am busy but I will make whatever time I need to invest in a relationship. Please be willing to do the same. I'm social and outgoing and like to go out on the weekends. I don't care if there are 2 people or 20, so it's important that you like to go out as well. Quiet times are ok too sometimes. I'm also very active- hiking, sports, coaching, volunteering, etc and don't spend much time sitting around. I don't watch TV very often and I haven't been to the movies in at least 5 years- just always find something I'd rather be doing but I always have music on!So you must really feel like we've got a lot in common if you've read all the way through that! Anywhere casual, comfortable.

    Hello there. I guess I could be summed up as a laid back, divorced mom who travels with her work. I am health conscious and am currently educating myself about clean eating, which I have discovered is borderline impossible while traveling. I like to read and I love to learn new things. I am very inquisitive - I am always googling things to find out why. I love to dance, usually barefoot in my kitchen with my 18 year old son shaking his head in utter shame and disbelief. Really I think he's jealous that he doesn't have moves like his mom. Music- I like anything that will have me dancing in my seat and make me want to get up andto move,usually more modern poppy stuff. I also like music that can move me emotionally. Patsy Cline could be singing about peanut butter and I would get goose bumps. Interests - If I haven't stated an interest in it, doesn't mean that I wouldn't like it. Probably just haven't tried it yet. I asked a friend to describe me without making me sound egotistical, this is what she says about me: "Enjoys having fun with friends and isn't afraid to laugh. Always puts others before herself and is quite witty. Reliable and confident about who she is and is down to earth." Who I am looking for: Someone who can challenge me intellectually while being ridiculously, stupidly silly. Wit and a sense of humor are must haves. I also am looking for someone who is active & who likes to live life to the fullest. We only get one go round here, and I want to experience it with someone who wants to experience it with me.
