About me: I recently got out of a 7 year relationship/engagement in which our vast differences couldn't be overcome; needless to say I've certainly realized the importance of moral compatibility and mutual respect. I did get a beautiful daughter out of the experience who is now 5 and I firmly believe that things happen for a reason, even though understanding that reason may come much later! I work f/t, am a single mother, and am in graduate school, however, I wouldn't mind meeting somebody that sparks my interest enough to occupy what little free time I have. And if you think burning jello is sexy, than I'm your girl ;-) I am very intimidated to put myself out there in this fashion, as this is my first go around with online dating but I am trying to be a bit more adventurous lol. I would much rather meet somebody in person but supposedly this is the new way to meet others/socialize so I'm receptive, albeit still cautious. I do have some deal breakers: criminal record, drug user, smoker (even the occasional "puff"-- it's a total turn off!), lack of license/transportation, and if you have no goals or a career, I'm not going to be interested. My biggest pet peeve in communication is an error in spelling. I also feel that recent pictures are important; I am not shallow however I've met a couple of people who look dramatically different in person which just irks me! Lol Lastly, I have no problem being alone, but I have realized that I definitely miss having a connection with somebody, text messages that make me smile, and the anticipation of seeing them. Hmm. Amusement park. Beach at night. Sox game. Concert. I like all kinds of music but country is my favorite. I'm a sucker for good conversation and I'm pretty low-frills.I have always been the one to coordinate plans so it would be awesome to be surprised for once! : )

I'm a single mom to 5 amazing kids (4 daughters and 1 son ranging in age from 11 to 2 years old). I am recently (Okay, it's been over a year but who's counting) divorced and looking to start over. I'm not looking for a man to "take care of me", I take care of me and mine just fine. So don't let the children run you off, unless you just don't like children in which case RUN far FAR away! My kids come first and foremost above anything else.I have been burnt, badly, a lot. I've been lied to, cheated on, and left alone (hey, ain't that a country song?). To be quite honest I think I have some sort of douchebag (can I say that here?) magnet attatched to me. I have a large wall up because of this and don't let people in easy, generally because it backfires in my face. I didn't think finding an honest, trustworthy, loyal country boy would be so difficult but apparently it is. This past year of my life has made me realize what I want and deserve out of a guy and I refuse to settle for anything less. No games, No lies, No secrets, No nonsense. I generally keep men at an arms length because I've realized that most of them are just looking for a piece and I'm over that. I'm honestly just tired of Mr. Right Now and ready for Mr. Right. I'm not looking for a "daddy" for the kids, I'm just looking for someone who see's how great we are and wants us to be a part of their life, thats it. I'm easy going and even easier to please. A night home watching movies together is just as appealing as going out to dinner and a movie. Horseback rides? Fine by me. Wanna go coon hunting, deer hunting, fishing? Drag me along! Chillen on a backroad and shooting the breeze, that's A-Okay. I'm just down to earth and love the simple things in life. I learned a long, LONG, time ago that money don't buy happiness and that the best things in life are indeed free. I'm loyal to a fault. I don't think you could find anyone more loyal and selfless than I am. Something even my ex husband will attest too. I go above and beyond for those I care about. I refuse to give up until the last ember has been extinguished. I have a lot of good in me to give and can't wait to find someone to show that too. I look for whats on the inside of someone far more than whats on the outside and hope to find someone who is the same.
