Hi there,I believe all things happen for a reason. I live a comfortable life and appreciate the little things life has to offer. Was married for 29 years and here I am. :-)I consider myself to be a very kind, compassionate woman who loves her family/friends and loves life. I'm an optimistic woman who always tries to find the positive in every situation. Drama is not a part of my life.The mother of three grown children, it is now time for me. It's great having adult kids because they get it.I'm content being at home but love to be active spending time outdoors. I enjoy music, dancing, going out to dinner and a play, watching sports and an occasional wine tasting. Love going for long walks and being near the water. I am not afraid to try new things as long as I feel comfortable. On my "to do" list I would like to travel more, and experience new things. I do feel we need to keep ourselves in the best possible shape we can, both in mind and body. For some it comes easy, for others it's a work in progress. The type of man I find attractive is a man with confidence, but not arrogant. It's all about the eyes and smile that get my attention. Although we are all beautiful people, there has to be a physical attraction for me as well, and I think I'm speaking for us all. A Man who takes pride in himself, is positive, can make conversation. A man who is understanding, fun and caring, but most of all can make me laugh. A good hearty belly laugh that brings tears to my eyes is the best. :-) An active man who enjoys being outdoors as well as getting out on the dance floor. Someone who loves those weekend trips or just a drive on a Sunday afternoon. A man who only is with me and does not have wandering eyes. Someone who is loyal to the woman he is with. I am not looking for a player. A gentleman who compliments his partner, opens the door and even more impressive is when they walk on the "correct" side of a woman. I am a woman of many facets. To try to describe myself to you would be frustrating for me and would only be my perception of self. That being said, I suppose who I am to you depends on what part of me you choose to tap into. Eventually, with enough time invested, you may see it all. Some see me as colorful and vibrant. Energetic, perhaps a little childlike, and soulfully inspired with many ideas, some new and some old. Yes I have a kid and she's almost as tall as me and she specializes in chasing off douches *laugh* I'm kidding. Sense of humor in tact.On the flip side, I can be many things most people can be, such as impatient, intolerant. I can be prideful. There's a whole list of things, but I remain willing to look at myself. I have taken time to look at my past and present behaviors and progress as I learn life lessons. I feel I have come a long way. One KEY thing about me... I do NOT drink. Nor do drugs. I still have plenty of fun I just remember it all now. *smile* I also try my best to live an honest life of principles and values. I will wait as long as it takes to find the one whose values coincide. Ok one more thing. I don't drive. It's a lifestyle choice for me. Something many can't fathom. But I do, and that's what matters :-) So unless you enjoy driving the distance, its best to be fairly local to visit because though I can get places, I can't get everywhere unless I call a taxi and well...that is a luxury I can't afford. If you are of sound spirit, mind, and body (most of the time) I would especially love to talk to you. If your idea of a good time doesn't involve going to a bar that gains you extra bonus points, especially because I don't drink. I probably won't be staying.... Locals seem to really love it here, or at least making the best of it. I am making the best of my temporary time here as well. But it is... temporary. I've had a dream in my mind since age 14 that I would live in NY or a vast city. I have lived on a few beaches in my life and didn't go. Up for a road trip? I'm in!
