Edited ***Wow!!! This is quite the challenge. Mainly because I'm not certain all viewers read the profiles. So let me put this out here to save everyone some time. I don't care about NASCAR, riding on your Harley or country music. I also do not date men more than 10 years younger or older than myself. Nothing wrong with any of these things, just not MY thing. So with that being said maybe I won't have to delete my profile......the unwanted messages are too much. I'm not on this site for an ego boost or to socialize. If you feel we have common interests then message me. I will read your profile and reply.I've lived in NC for 20 years now so I kind of feel like this is home. I raised my 3 sons here ***. Now that I've completed that and I did a great job I should add. It's my turn.I enjoy music.... I love to listen to all genres while at home or working. I love to dance to just about anything. And concerts are always a good experience as well as small venues with live performances. Although I'm not a fan of country music.I don't watch TV so I can't sit on the sofa with you watching any kind of TV series. I do enjoy movies. Especially action films (grew up the only girl). And I love plays. I'm very spiritual. Not religious. Although I love religion and can talk about any faith endlessly. Friends say I should teach Religious studies. Who knows.....maybe I will. So if you're a bigot or prejudice in anyway please don't waste your or my time on here. For those continuing to read. I love to travel. I want to see the world. I've pretty much covered the US with the exception of a few cities I want to visit.... Both are on my list along with a couple more. I've been to the Grand Caymans & Cozumel. I wasn't that impressed. Nice but too touristy. I've been 3 times can't wait to go again. I want to see Europe & Asia now. I grew up on the east coast and I do miss the smell of salt air. And fresh seafood....OMG....yes my favorite food is seafood. I don't care if I never eat beef or pork again. But seafood I must have. So if you have a shellfish allergy I'm probably a bad choice. I also love Mexican, Indian & Italian food. I'm not sure if I can see myself living in NC the rest of my life. It's beautiful here and all but there is just something missing. I do enjoy watching football with my sons. We go grab a few beers and watch the game it's awesome. I've been Mother and Father through their youth & still in their adulthood. Skeet shooting, swimming and dancing are things I like to do. I'm an intermediate-level snow skier with a NAUI dive card (what a combo). And after a couple of glasses of "aiming fluid", I can shoot a pretty mean game of pool too. (Oh yeah...and I like to shop. I'm a girl. Its what we do.)Small casual gatherings are the BEST kind. (LOVE my shorts and flip flops) Old friends and new, a couple of "adult beverages" thrown in for good measure...life's "aaah" moments. Getting dressed up to go out is fun too. (Have waaay too many sexy heels to let 'em sit and collect dust.) I think hosting parties at home is even better than attending them elsewhere. (Okay, I just might root a little harder for the 'Noles...) Road trips...love 'em. Planned or spontaneous...with a destination in mind or just following the road ahead...doesn't matter. I've embraced a new way of looking at life, after starting fresh and shiny-new. Living IN the moment is the most important thing for me. Life doesn't start later, tomorrow, next week...its what we're doing RIGHT NOW...and I've been making the most of it. Something else you might want to know 'bout me (and I'm giving you fair warning), I enjoy being challenged, and I hope you do too...'cause I CAN be a handful. I'm willful and sassy, and playful and fun. I spend most of my days with a big ol' smile on my face, and I'll keep one on yours as long as we're open to each other. (But I'll bet you'll want to chase me around the kitchen island a time or two...its that dang sassy thing.)I have two GREAT kids. My daughter is 23, proudly married to a soldier, and gave birth to my very first grandchild in ***. (She's the one who convinced me to give this crazy site a try, by the way.) My son is 20, is also in the Army, and married his high school sweetheart earlier this year. (Hoo-ah! I'm a proud mama.)Oh, and one more thing, in case you're still interested: I was a commissioned officer in the US Army. (yes, really). That's it...that's me in a five minute read. Soooo...what are you waiting for? Something as simple as meeting for a drink and a chat to see if there is a spark between us would be an ideal first meeting. A nice relaxing spot, preferably outside (weather permitting) would suit me just fine. A game of pool or shooting darts would be fun too. No matter what...if its easy to converse, if we look directly into each other's eyes as we do, if a giggle or ten erupts during our exchange, I'd say yes to spending more time getting to know you better...if you agreed. (And if I flirt with you during our first meeting, trust me, you're golden.) Second date? ...bring a crash helmet...
