Edited ***Wow!!! This is quite the challenge. Mainly because I'm not certain all viewers read the profiles. So let me put this out here to save everyone some time. I don't care about NASCAR, riding on your Harley or country music. I also do not date men more than 10 years younger or older than myself. Nothing wrong with any of these things, just not MY thing. So with that being said maybe I won't have to delete my profile......the unwanted messages are too much. I'm not on this site for an ego boost or to socialize. If you feel we have common interests then message me. I will read your profile and reply.I've lived in NC for 20 years now so I kind of feel like this is home. I raised my 3 sons here ***. Now that I've completed that and I did a great job I should add. It's my turn.I enjoy music.... I love to listen to all genres while at home or working. I love to dance to just about anything. And concerts are always a good experience as well as small venues with live performances. Although I'm not a fan of country music.I don't watch TV so I can't sit on the sofa with you watching any kind of TV series. I do enjoy movies. Especially action films (grew up the only girl). And I love plays. I'm very spiritual. Not religious. Although I love religion and can talk about any faith endlessly. Friends say I should teach Religious studies. Who knows.....maybe I will. So if you're a bigot or prejudice in anyway please don't waste your or my time on here. For those continuing to read. I love to travel. I want to see the world. I've pretty much covered the US with the exception of a few cities I want to visit.... Both are on my list along with a couple more. I've been to the Grand Caymans & Cozumel. I wasn't that impressed. Nice but too touristy. I've been 3 times can't wait to go again. I want to see Europe & Asia now. I grew up on the east coast and I do miss the smell of salt air. And fresh seafood....OMG....yes my favorite food is seafood. I don't care if I never eat beef or pork again. But seafood I must have. So if you have a shellfish allergy I'm probably a bad choice. I also love Mexican, Indian & Italian food. I'm not sure if I can see myself living in NC the rest of my life. It's beautiful here and all but there is just something missing. I do enjoy watching football with my sons. We go grab a few beers and watch the game it's awesome. I've been Mother and Father through their youth & still in their adulthood. Honesty is very important to me. No relationship of any kind can exist without trust. ***PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING***#1- Being non religious means I follow no form of organized religion.     I enjoy the outdoors and would rather find something to do to be outside. I hated pulling weeds then, but believe doing this as a child gave me the love of gardening now. Doesn't matter where I move to, I always find a small plot of ground to dig up :) Yes, I do make home-made meals, no boxes and most of my freezer is filled with fresh frozen veggies. I also own my own sewing machine and I do use it. Now ask me if my children have the same talents......uhhh no. Times have truly changed. Although my oldest daughter who was just married last year is now starting to plant a small vegetable garden. I guess I have started to rub off after all.... This is where my love of fishing comes from.Having 4 girls, my father taught us what we needed to know to take care of ourselves. All of us can tile a floor, *** new faucet or ceiling fan, change a tire, shingle a new roof, or try and fix something broken before getting new. It has come in handy in my past marriage but would like a little help from time to time. I enjoy riding my bike either on the road for great cardio exercise or leisurely through bike trails or neighborhoods enjoying the scenery and the sounds of nature for a relaxing release of tension. I do like to play golf but have not played in a few years. I have played volleyball competitively since high school and this is the first year I have not been on a team because of moving recently. I did however sub on my daughter's team while visiting this summer and I must say, I kept up and felt great! Guess I'm NOT ready to quit yet!I have always wanted to take couples dancing lessons and would love to find a man that is up for the challenge or one who could teach me enough to get around the dance floor.I love music and my passion is wine tasting and smooth jazz, they compliment each other so well, just what I'm looking for - a great pairing with a man sharing my similar tastes and interests. I am an optimist and will NOT settle for negativity.I am so overwhelmed by people on here who just want a "quickie". I'm not like that. The truth is, I do have hope for real true love someday. Someone who takes my breath away. Surprise me. I LOVE surprises!

    I look forward to and enjoy experiencing many of the opportunities life has to offer. The things I like to do can range from sitting around a bonfire with good friends to a night out on the town... the wineries, the lake, the landscape. I am fortunate to have wonderful friends to enjoy it with, however when I think of the future I think of sharing all that with a "special someone". Traveling is more enjoyable with someone else and I have not even begun to see all there is. It would be wonderful to see places of interest... history or scenery. I love most types of music but admit that I am particularly fond of the music I listened to in high school and college. My radio dial always seems to find its way back to the "classic rock" station. Yes I am, win or lose I guess I am a die hard. In fact I love most sports and sporting events. Go Bucks! *Living a healthy and active lifestyle is important to me. Love cooking and love love love eating out at some of the areas better restaurants. Until recently I was very involved in the horse industry but for now I have scaled down and enjoy casual riding. I am an educated health professional working full time. I have college age children. Empty nesting does have it's advantages especially the grocery bill but I am not sure it is all it is cracked up to be. I am extremely proud of my children and enjoy having them in my daily life. I would be most interested in someone athletic, who has a passion and is solid and secure in there life today and for the future.
