About Me

Where on earth has the time gone? I sure don't feel 53 and definitely don't look or act it. I guess that's because I have 2 amazing kids that keep me young! My son is 21 & daughter is 17 and as they are preparing to leave the nest, I am finding myself more & more alone. I very much enjoy my time to myself (it's good for the soul), but I sure would like someone to share the last half of my life with. But i'm beginning to wonder if there are any men out there who are not self-absorbed? Are there any men out there who are capable of loving another, including her family? I know there has got to be "the one" for me out there in this big world somewhere.I believe the key to life is a positive attitude and the key to a healthy relationship is trust!! I love to laugh and at times I'm a corny, sentimental fool. Yes, I even tear up during commercials, while everyone sits and laughs at me. I don't like to be around negative people, whiners, or those that are lazy. The Bible says...you don't work, you don't eat. My morals are on the conservative side. I believe in Jesus, hunting, fishing, trucks and the 2nd amendment!. I am very anti-Obama!!! It has nothing to do with ethnicity. I'm Southern Baptist and he goes against everything I believe in!!My music taste is country, classic rock, & contemporary christian. I love dining out. Definitely prefer it over cooking. A glass or 2 of wine or a couple ice cold beers is fine on occasion as long as you're not driving. A few definite no's with me are violence, jealousy and no controlling issues. I enjoy being at home. I'm really just a down to earth woman looking for the same in a man. PS......I'm not interested in your Harley. If you have a Harley, that's fine. I just don't want to ride. Probably a short dinner or meeting of some sort, so we are not committed to spend a huge amount of time together on the first meeting. I don't want to meet for coffee - don't drink it. Just an informal dinner to begin with would be nice.
