I love movies, going out to dinner, staying home for dinner, laughing, having fun, sharing anything and all that I have. I’m looking for someone normal that likes to go out a few nights a week for dinner, movies or whatever.

I am a warm, intelligent, outgoing woman who is fortunate to have a phenomenal family and fantastic group of friends. My kids are without question the two most important people in my life. They are my greatest accomplishment and their happiness means the world to me. Independent but far from being a feminist, I enjoy being treated like a lady. Not lacking in self-confidence or respect, I appreciate a man who is equally proud of who he is and admired by those who know him best. While I can easily appreciate the finer things in life, I recognize that the most precious things do not come with a price tag. Practicing a healthy lifestyle - working out and choosing the right foods - is important to me. In view of their antioxidant properties, I do categorize wine, coffee, and chocolate as health foods :).Ideally, I am interested in meeting someone who shares similar principles, is attractive (both in personality and physically), accomplished, has a terrific sense of humor, and places great value on leaving a positive impression on others. I hold a man in high regard if he successfully balances all the major aspects of his life: family, career, friends, and a relationship. Summarizing my search criteria, I'm not looking to find the perfect man - just the one who is perfect for me. A cup of coffee at a favorite coffee shop or glass of wine at a local establishment to determine if there's a spark of chemistry.

I enjoy doing things outdoors, whether it's grilling and hanging with friends or, going for walks on a beautiful day or night, & down time at the lake, I like to travel, I love to read, go to movies, I love to laugh & have a good time, meeting new people & spending time with friends, just being socialable, I like the arts and plays, I like weekend getaways, I love animals. Spending time with the man in my life. After reading this, I decided that for some, these first date ideas actually sound more like 2nd or 3rd dates....so with that said, please don't think I expect a lot on a first date...but, initially this is what I thought of...no pressure though, okay?!.. As long as we are both comfortable & able to talk w/o having to yell! :-) dinner and drinks(or no drinks) someplace at the Power & Light area &.. maybe go for a gondola ride :-) It really doesn't matter..what i described is nice but, Starbucks or Panera Bread is good, too..what's your idea for a first date?
