I'm a girl who likes all kinds of art, great music, and loves a good movie. In my spare time I love drawing, painting, and picking up *** attempting to be decent. That's me in a nutshell.

I love exploring new places and meeting new people. I'm active. I like to hike, go to the gym, and hang out at a park. I would love to find a place to kayak, preferably not on the ocean. I'm terrified of sharks. I have fun rock climbing, dancing, swimming at the beach, camping, and riding horses. I'm a mountain girl at heart, and in the winter I ski and snowboard in Big Bear. I love to travel. I want to do more of it. I'm always itching to go somewhere.I love movies. Death at a Funeral (the British version), French Kiss, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail are some of my favorites.J. I can't stand horror films. Give me comedy, fantasy, or sci-fi any day.+ the Machine are my favorite bands. I dislike country and old school rap. I could live the rest of life without hearing them and be content. Pandas are my favorite animal. I love Halloween. October is my favorite month. I enjoy spending time with my friends. I like going out and trying new bars. I always try to make the best out of everything. Ever the optimist. My friends say I am the coolest thing since bubble wrap. I'm inclined to agree. :)I want someone who is passionate about their work, and knows what they want out of life and their career. I don't care if you're working in retail, as long as you have dreams you're pursuing. I need someone who makes me laugh. What I'm looking for:-Age ***ish. No one over the age of 40.-Height 5'8" - 6'0" ish-Preferably not bald. Preferably. There are few exceptions.-Someone who lives in LA county. Please, put some thought in your message. I'm growing to loathe the one-word "heys" and "hellos". Movies, bars, live bands, laser tag, go-cart racing, seeing a play or musical, food (I love food), galleries, a day at the beach, horse back riding (even if you've never gone, it's a blast!). I'm not picky, just as long as you're a gentleman; pay for me, open doors, don't grope me at the end of the night, and you'll be fine.P.S. I have a severe distaste for Karaoke. It's the only thing I won't do.

Thanks for stopping by my page! Please feel free to enjoy a few details:In effort to summarize: animals, Seinfeld (and comedies with like-minded humor), music, travel, and the great outdoors. Sense of humor, grounded, pragmatic and logical to a fault. Open-minded, intellectual, outgoing, silly, pleasant, honest, genuine, considerate, and no-nonsense, straightforward approach with low tolerance for shirking responsibility or being disrespectful. Those are all interests/qualities that I do my best to possess and value in others. If I have captured your attention at all, please feel free to continue. Some interests/passions:I love animals. I’m not a vegetarian, and I'm not radical by any means, but I am very compassionate and concerned about issues of animal cruelty, and think it's important to stand up for its victims who have no voice of their own. I enjoy being outdoors and staying physically active, and keep an overall healthy lifestyle, but I am not a complete workout-aholic. As far as drinking goes, I drink now and then, but if I go six months without a drink, for example, I won’t even notice. If I do drink then I do, but it’s just not that important to me on the regular, and I honestly prefer a good night’s sleep over a hangover anyway.I love music. As a listener, I am definitely a country fun, but I like a lot of other genres too; it just seems that THAT’S the defining one for a lot of people. Otherwise, on a different “note” (ha!) of the musical section here, I enjoy music theory and often try my hand at composing/songwriting. I’ve played the piano my whole life and although I am much rustier now than when I was 14, I still consider myself a musician and work to keep my knowledge of music, from a technical/musician’s standpoint, in practice. I LOVE to sing, though I could use some improvement, and adore a capella harmony, and choral performances. I enjoy musicals, and pageantry of all sorts. (I am a failed aspiring actor who’s worked very hard to abandon that dream due to a hatred of traffic and LA, and a frustration with the inherent nature of show business, but I still enjoy seeing shows and performing if the opportunity should arise). I appreciate when people have a good command of the language, and know the difference between “there, their, and they’re.” I love intelligent discussion. Open lines of communication are very important to me, and texting that goes on for hours and hours is just not going to work for me. Texting is great for quick little things, but if we’re really discussing something, (or if it’s out first chat after messaging on POF), texting is not appropriate. You can’t get to know a person by reading your interpretation of their words on a screen. Also, I love it when people are themselves. I find it really annoying when people constantly congratulate themselves publicly on *** out, going to the gym, or eating healthily. Or when they post every two seconds about every silly little "clever" thought in their head. Other:At this point in my life, I am a little uncertain of where I’m going. I graduated from college early, and was always in a big rush to do everything, when I discovered that I wasn’t quite satisfied with the path I chose back then. So, I’m in a position now where I may make some changes, as far as career and where I live are concerned. I've always wanted "more" out of life, whatever that means, so I'm figuring that out. With that said, I’m hard-working and responsible, and value the same in a partner, but am just redirecting myself a bit.I like to laugh. Conclusion:I know that was quite a read and if you made it this far, well, I admire your perserverance! If I have intrigued you at all and if you feel like we might have a thing or two in common, please feel free to say hello. Thanks, and I’ll talk to ya then! For a first date, I like to be in a setting where we are able to get to know each other. Any activity that two people can do together that provides an opportunity for good conversation works for me. And as a note, also referenced in the section above: please do not engage in a series of texts in lieu of the initial phone call. No need to text prior to the call to ask if you can call either. Just call. If I don't answer, you can leave a voicemail and I'll call you back. You can't get to know a person and find out if you "click" by reading your interpretation of their words on a screen. Text is great for quick little things, but it's not a substitute for full conversation.
