Otherwise, it may take WEEKS or even MONTHS to find out you're not compatible.I am very affectionate, and could be (am?) labeled "touchy-feely". I know the 5 Love Languages, and which ones I am, and how to recognize and interact with the others (something I could have used a few years back). I have spent a lot of time analyzing what went wrong and how to prevent it the next (and hopefully final) time. I REALLY expect people to (mostly?) understand the English language and the proper use of "its" and "it's" and "there," they're," and "their." This is an actual profile I found - the WHOLE thing - "IM laid bk so dnt cum ta me with drama or games I hate liers." Seriously. I could not make that up! I also speak some Spanish and German (and would love to learn more and/or become fluent).I have a (fairly) stable life, a stable job, two kids (50% of the time), my own house, etc... I coach and play soccer year-round. I try to visit both of my kids' schools to have lunch with them once a week. I rarely (if ever) miss anything they do (I'm usually coaching or volunteering in some other way).I watch the news and read a lot of online news - technology, science, politics, etc... (Though I don't necessarily like TALKING politics). I know what's going on in my town, state, country, and world. Entertainment Tonight is NOT news.I'm usually always reading a computer book of sorts - picking up a new programming language, or expanding my knowledge of one I know.I'm a car guy - love sportscars (Corvettes, specifically), muscle cars, and Jeeps. I have had my mechanic's license just because I can, even though I've never been a mechanic (I'm a well-rounded car and computer geek). We camp in a tent, but the campground has clean restrooms and showers, and a heated pool. :-) I have camped in very rustic (read the middle of NOWHERE) places before, where they "may" have outhouses....I don't hunt or fish, though I don't have a problem with it; it's just not my thing. I also don't eat fish, especially if it's raw, but I do love crab legs.I am big into nature, natural beauty, and history. I have a bucket list of about 30 places to visit with the kids before they graduate - from National Parks and Monuments (a majority) to museums, battlefields, and amusement parks.- Smithsonian, Vietnam Memorial, etc...Musically I like about everything a guy my age should. I'm a huge country music fan, from Hank to Hank Jr, LOVE Chris Ledoux. I'm not afraid to don a pair of cowboy boots and a western / cowboy look. I like to play air drums in the car, and air guitar when nobody is paying attention. I am the guy that when a song come on the radio, I say, "WHO SINGS THIS?" to anybody in earshot.Lastly, and maybe you've actually read this far, but I am very picky in what I am looking for. On top of compatibility with the afore-mentioned traits, hobbies, and personality, I am looking for more of a slender, thin, or athletic body type. No offense, just my preference.I could probably ramble on all day, but I'll leave it here for now. You know, the "I have spent 5 minutes with this person and I know I am into them" type of connection. I want that powerful connection, the kind that leaves you wanting more even if you have been apart for only a couple of minutes. So about me. I am probably the most truthful person you will ever meet. I tell the truth almost always, and often I will even tattle on myself if I even bend the truth a little. I want to be remembered as someone with high moral values and incredible personal integrity. I am not afraid to have the "dificult" conversations, I believe communication is key to any type of success whether it be social or romantic. I am a physical type of guy. If we are together walking I like to hold hands or throw an arm around your shoulder. I like a lot of affection. Kissing, hugging, cuddling, I love it all. I do like going out and being social but in very small doses. I have done the bar/club scene, and to be quite honest, I am kinda done with it. I still like to go out, but not every weekend. Speaking of weekends, mine are pretty much unavailable due to the fact I work on weekends. I work 12's friday sat and sunday, so my weekend actually starts on monday. Yeah I know, I am not fond of it either. But I love my job so that makes it ok (gulfstream). I am a pet lover as well. I have two cats for pets, 1 is 14, the other 4. They are both males and very well behaved. So if cats arent your thing, well then I probably am not either. The other thing you should know is I want a family, which includes children. I would like to have at least 1 or two at most, unless things are so good a third would be an option. So if you are not into kids, well you get the picture.
