That and life is too short for going around in circles on dating sites. Phew, got that off my chest! Any sapiosexuals out there?? People say that I have an interesting life and I suppose I've done a range of things from teaching and lecturing to counselling, writing, consulting, evaluation and research. My passion at work has been understanding how we develop and how we manage to function and embrace the world of which we are a part. I've got two grown up children who don't live with me but with whom I'm very close. I'm really open to new relationships and I have a generous and loving heart. I laugh easily but equally I can be thoughtful and reflective. I have a great bunch of good friends so I suppose I'm looking for something beyond that. My friends tell me that I'm considerate, intuitive, giving, funny, appreciative and loyal. ( no money exchanged hands for these plaudits). I guess you'll have to find out, if you're interested . . . I enjoy photography and visiting unusual and different places (Portmeirion, Venice, Prague) and all those quaint National Trust buildings, particularly by the coast. I also love music(today Armenian folk music), cooking, gardening, cycling, films, literature and mooching around art galleries and museums. As work becomes less of a priority I’m finding the time to make jewellery and I’m loving this opportunity to be creative.
