Looking for a special someone to spend time with, get to know and have fun with...I'm looking for someone to enjoy life with, to see what is out there and this is a good way for me because of my sometimes hectic schedule. I enjoy doing just about anything. I like to hang out with friends and family, watch movies, go out for a night on the town, whatever there is to do!! I am looking for someone who is kind, caring, supportive, a good listener, someone who can laugh and enjoy life and who cares about themself and those around them, someone who is my best friend too...someone to fill the void I guess you could say...I consider myself very compassionate, caring, humorous and slightly outspoken, but I can also hold my own when need be...just looking for what some believe is "Mr. Right" :PI have a beautiful little girl and she is my world and will always come first in my life and I would hope that that is understandable...if not keep fishing!I have a degree and have completed half of my masters degree and hope to go to law school at some point.I really have no expectations from this site, but whatever happens happens...if its friends or more, I am open minded, but i'm not really looking for someone to hook up with but to get to know and see where it goes from there.Want to know anything more just shoot me a message and happy fishing to you all...I think a good first date would be out for coffee, a walk around the park, some drinks at the lounge or even a nice dinner out. Somewhere where you can talk and get to know the other person.

I'm quite happy with where I am in my LIFE right now. I retired from the Houston Police Department after 31 years, 3 months, and 14 days. No, I didn't count them, it was on the certificate. I am now following my life-long dream. I write historical romances. My life is nearly perfect, except for that one missing thing.OKAY, the reason I'm re-writing this thing again. In a word, Christmas. I love my friends but they, as a general rule, do not celebrate the holidays. I have come to realize this is something I WANT in my Life very much. And I WANT to be with someone that LOVES to celebrate not only Christmas but other holidays as well. Something I used to do and LOVED greatly. After struggling to find a way to put my desires for a partner into words I realized this past Christmas, while watching a number of Christmas shows that this expressed one of my biggest desires in a mate and partner. Or to put it another way, I want someone who loves life as much as I do and likes to celebrate it in a multitude of ways.Another HUGE thing that has change and made me need to change my profile is my return to my old faith. The beginning of this year I began attending a Unity church near my home. It has become a big part of my life and I know that whomever I share my life with I want this (my faith) to be a big part of our lives as well. Now the practical part of this. As I said above, I write Historical Romances and expect to publish my first novel within the year. This IS MY JOB and CAREER now. And I treat it as a full time job. A job I LOVE very much. I NEED for my partner to understand this and understand what it means to be a passionate writer. I also love live theatre, music of most kind, including Symphony. I have season tickets to TUTS and go to the ballet as often as I can talk someone into going with me. I also love fine arts and the museum. I have traveled outside the U.S. to a number of countries and love to travel when I can.I workout nearly every morning by walking 5.2 miles (right now, 1 hr, 20 min) before I start writing. And I prefer to do this outdoors and not in a gym. I am an admitted city girl, but I also love to hike and travel so I’m not opposed to nature. Now the NEGITIVE things. I've put this in the HEADLINE, in the first paragraph, BOLDED it, underlined it. Began every sentence with it (just kidding on that one) but to no avail. So for the men (whom I know are NOT reading this) and the bi girls looking for a "third", I'm not interested. I am a lesbian and interested in the same, ONLY. I am more attracted to women more like me, on the fem side. I've date women who are more on the butch side and have found we rarely have a lot in common. So. . . .Okay, I hope to hear from you if you think I sound interesting and someone you might like to get to know. If not, good luck in your own search for true love. â€
