I'm genuine, easy to talk to, and an original. I enjoy good conversation particularly when laughter is involved. Reading, Writing, watching Sports, watching a good movie, and listening to good music, are among them. I'm no angel, I enjoy adult beverages a couple times a week and I do smoke. Yet getting drunk is not my aim. I like just a buzz from alcohol then I sip my drink to maintain the buzz when I drink. Let's face it, life can be hard, mundane, or boring much of the time. We all want someone special in our life to make us feel good, and a relationship we can feel good about. So why are so many self-centered, "my way or no way" types, out there, expecting to find something good to last, when they would not want to date someone like themselves?! I mean think about it. It's give and take not just take. Duh! Hello?! (I'm laughing now.) You want good love? You gotta give good love. Right? Right. I can feel comfortable in many environments so my dates comfort would be my primary concern here. So her input, at least in part, would be important here. Having said that, a first date is a time to get to know one another so dinner out is a good place to start. I can think of about a dozen restaurants I could suggest and would allow her to choose one. Conversing over dinner is a good way to get to know one another better.

I enjoy: movies, music, dancing, drinks, fine dining, and even shopping ! I very much enjoy the outdoors...bicycling, walking .... I'm an Ebayer... and enjoy Garage Saling, and Flea Markets....... and love to find those treasures, and I often do !!! ..... won't you join me ???? :)But I love being home too... I enjoy my yard, my pool, camp fires in my woods, yes, of coarse with Smores...! I am usually up for new things...... I like a woman to be assertive..... Update!Ok; one thing I keep hearing is that I am not smiling in my pictures. I am a happy person & can smile & laugh. I think it's just I have a thing about my picture being taken. I guess I am trying to be serious. Yes I am a happy guy!!!!!!!! Well; I just don't get the whole dating thing I guess. Every person has different rules; some want to talk back & forth forever, some want to meet right away, others I have no idea !!! Someone please tell me the rules about when you should contact someone & when not to. I wait for some kind of signal before I do & then I get what took so long. Please someone give me the rules !!!! UPDATE !!! Just a little thing that I am not sure about; If you click you would like to meet someone & then they e-mail you & then don't answer back or just delete the e-mail, that is rude sorry just my thought!! Yes in 1 of my pictures I am wearing some very bright colored shoes; sorry if that freaks some people out !!! I have a shoe thing & you never know from day to day where I am going wih it. UPDATE !!! I am not sure why I should have to say this; but it seems to be a theme on post that I have been reading. I am a good guy, both my girls tell me that all the time. I do not do drugs, I have a job & a home, I have never been abusive ( just don't believe in that). I f there is a problem either talk about it & work it out or just walk away. Now my faults; sometime I get to wrapped up in my work & need to be told to just take a break. I have type A personality; I have a certian way the dishwasher HAS to be loaded ( only one way). I am a Virgo & whether or not you beleive in that, it fits me to the T. I grew up in Okla & still have family & friends there. We do truck & auto accessories & slowly adding a speed shop. I have 2 girls they are 29 & 20, my oldest has 2 kids. I am very close to my daughters & talk to them atleast once a week. I would some day like to remarry BUT I am in no hurry I want to make sure I get it right. I like to do a little of everything, I really like the Opera ( Windspear) & musicals. And I can cook ! I did say cook not just grill; I take cooking classes *** Central Market, 1) there fun 2) How else do you learn to cook dishes you have only read about? I have always been the cook in my house ( I wanted to be able to eat it). My kids tell me I have a type A personallity when it comes to keeping my house clean; I don't see it but things have their place. I love just going out for a drive & finding that hole in the wall place to eat. I sometimes need that little nudge, but afterwards I am glad i did it. Maybe meet for coffee or drinks talk & see from there. If we seem to get along set up a date for dinner or something like that
