Also will be researching my family genealogy this year in anticipation of a future trip some day to Germany to see where my ancestors came from. I love a simple first date that allows for getting to know a person. In the summer, having a picnic in the park, hanging out on State Street or at the Capital or going to Concerts on the Square are some of the activities I like to do on a first date. Of course, nothing beats an ice cream cone at the Union Terrace during the day, or maybe a nice wine at a wine/martini bar downtown in the evening. I think a first date should be very casual and comfortable so both of us would feel relaxed.
