I like to be outdoors, whether it’s riding my motorcycle or taking a walk. Going to Summerfest (and other festivals) is one of my favorite things to do: listen to good music, eat good food, and people-watch. I also like to travel, but I don’t get to do it as often as I would like. I enjoy a good joke, whether telling it or hearing it. My taste and interests are varied, whether it’s music, movies, food or whatever. I listen to classic rock, country, oldies, jazz, blues, swing, almost anything. And I never met a cuisine I didn’t like. I love to try the “traditional” food or house special when I go to an ethnic restaurant.I am always willing to try something new, whether it’s the first time you’ve prepared a dish, a new game or sport (I got into curling for a couple of years through some friends) or a band from Europe that no one’s ever heard of, at Summerfest for the first time.I am not looking for the perfect woman, but a woman who is perfect for me. Someone who is a genuinely nice person, likes to have fun and has a good sense of humor. Physical attraction is essential, of course, but that doesn't mean "classic beauty", necessarily. I have found that I am more attracted to women who have interesting features and exude personality. She is comfortable with herself, and takes care of herself both mentally and physically.I want to be with someone who needs me, but is independent enough not to need me all of the time. Being affectionate and crazy about each other are musts. We understand each other, communicate well, trust each other and have similar goals and values. We have many of the same interests, yet we can enjoy things on our own as well.Communication, respect, honesty and caring for each other are essential. I am a glass-half-full kind of guy. Hi there!! Just looking to see if I can find a woman with some of the same interests that I have...... I love the outdooors and will pretty much do anything as long as it involves fresh air.. Some of my favorites activities are camping ,fishing, quading, golfing, boating, bacci ball, Swap meets, drag races, rodeos or the air shows.. I have even jumped out of a plane.. I am very open and will try anything atleast once...... I like to do things around my home and my yard, yes even plant flowers..... I like to cook and like to BBQ food the most, So you make the salad and I'll cook the steak or chicken and veggies. It's way more fun when we can cook together.. I will try any new food so you can feed me almost anything..lol..... I'm very independant..I have a great job that I've been at for 28 years now.. I have a 14 year old son who spends some time with me during the Summer and on Holidays. . My son lives in the Castlegar area with his Mom.. If your interested in meeting me I have to tell you something ..I had some medical issues last year . I had surgery on my bowel. I have now developed a couple very large hernias on the incision on my abodmen. I'm now waiting for another surgery to put mesh in to fix the problem. But till that happens I have to put up with not looking or feeling my best. It has also forced me to stop working, and go on long term disability . (Update Dec ***I have now had my surgery and I'm on my way to recovery. I won't be able to resume my life totaly yet, I've been told 6 months then I can start getting back to the regular stuff I used to do. It's all Great news for me, so maybe the new year will hold some thing or some one special in it for me.. So if can over look my situation and look towards the future maybe your a keeper.. I love boating and anything to do with the ocean. weather it be fishing off shore or getting people together to go to the beach. I'm not a great golfer, but it's nice to get out there and just have some fun with it.
