I'm a career oriented guy living in a small-town about an hour from where i grew up. I don't know a whole lot of people in the area and would love to meet some like minded individuals. I work in Telecom/IT and love what I do for a living. My primary interests aside from work are home improvement, fine food & drinks, spending time with my puppy-dog, and learning new things.I enjoy several different musical genres mostly focusing on the different varieties of rock (RHCP, Incubus, Brand New, Anberlin) but also including sounds like classical & r&b. Not a huge fan of country or gangster rap but if its got a good sound too it you might find me enjoying it.I also despise most "reality" TV shows (seemed important)...I am a non-typical male in the following ways:---I'm not particularly interested in sports (if you are that's fine but don't expect me to get too excited about it***I don't talk sh*tand pick fights just because I've had a few drinks.---I don't drink beer (I love wine and enjoy a good mixed drink but beer is tooo bitter for me***I am not a hunter (although I'm an avid firearms enthusiast and have been known to hunt a time or two in the past it is not something i'm prepared to spend a great deal of time or money on)I'm sure there are several other things that set me apart from the pack those are the highlights. Food!

I have to admitt that I am somewhat shy at first but very outgoing when I get to know someone. I enjoy the company of someone who is outgoing, brutally honest, and someone who can take a joke. I love trying new experiences as long as laughter is involved. My favorite hobbies include snowboarding, hiking, and traveling with friends. I am pretty busy during the week as I am employed in the Army, but enjoy making the most out of any free time. My occupation requires me to move from time to time, so if that is going to be a problem then I am not the one for you. My goal is to finish my twenty years in service, retire, and just travel around the world. Until then I enjoy hanging out with a small group of friends on the weekends, drinking socially, and having a good time. I consider myself very easy going and an honest man.
