I've changed my Intent to DATING, not because I don't want more, just figured dating is the first step to more. Ok...I have rules/guidelines (and with every experience I have to add to them...haha). (I'm not a nut about it, it's just my way of living)Ok...besides all that, I am an energetic and fun, seriously I am...even with all the rules. I have a full-time job and am quite independent. I go to the gym ***times a week, I am 5'3", am fit and petite. I am not a complex person, but have a lot of activities going on. I am a mom of 3 and 1 grandson. I am a conservative person all around. Maybe a bit old-fashioned with a bit of spice, but all-in-all, conservative beliefs and values. I am always willing to try new adventures and want someone that is willing to do the same. I enjoy many activities such as travel (when I can), family is extremely important to me. I enjoy a good book, entertaining, beach & mountains (I know so cliché), walks, talks, gardening, being outdoors (no cold weather for me though). I am not a sit-around the house type person, but I enjoy being a homebody a times. I can easily spend a rainy, cool day in sweats watching old movies all day.I love my Steelers.That's about it, the rest will come out in conversations. Just giving meetville a look-see: Best qualities I possess are those I would look for in a partner: patience, understanding, honor and having a true moral compass….all the good stuff that really matters.I prefer the mountains to the ocean, small crowds to large, favorite season is Spring. I do not judge a book by its cover - for me it's having that little "something" that attracts me the most. I'm an avid animal lover, I’ve got three cats and they run the house, but I'm not a crazy cat lady - I don't dress them up for holidays, prefer hiking shoes to heels, prefer my comfy jeans to dresses (but that's because a size 2 is hard to find), love working in my garden/yard (or my neighbor’s yards for that matter), Sunday drives down roads I’ve never been on, parks, anything to do with nature and much more. Let's face it, at this point in life we all have experienced emotional turmoil and heartache in a romantic relationship. It's never pretty, but hopefully (let me put on my rose-colored glasses) we all become better people by virtue of having experienced it/them. I have grown from having gone through it all, and have come to realize that I wouldn't be who I am today had they not happened so I look for the same in a partner. I've healed my fair share of lonely, broken hearts too (meaning theirs) so I look for someone who is not jumping from relationship to relationship because they cannot be by themselves. Home has to be where the heart is otherwise it’s just not a home.If I was asked to describe my dating style based on my driving style - well - I'm in the slow lane and I'm perfectly happy being there until the right person comes along, almost friends first before more can follow.
