I love being a woman and I enjoy dressing in heels to feel beautiful and feminine, but I am by no means a "fussy girl". I am just as comfortable in jeans, a t-shirt and flip-flops. I like staying in (movies, naps with my special someone, talking and laughing....just being "us"-in-the wall, day or weekend trips, fly-fishing!). I am a great mom to my older, independent children with whom I have awesome relationships with. I am at a point in life where I have the freedom to go and do with ease (my youngest is 16). I live a "drama-free" life. I have had an ideal divorced parenting arrangement with my childrens' father for several years.I am down to earth and easy going. I'm happy and enjoy life on a daily basis. I can find the good in most circumstances and in most people. I laugh easily and want to be around others who are also optimistic and sincere. I am intelligent and confident and most importantly, I'm so much more than just a "pretty face". I want to find someone who can appreciate the sincerity I have to offer and return the same. I like casual "first meets" - possibly a happy hour for an appetizer and a drink. If we find chemistry, let's plan from there....

I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone, but that's a lot less scary if there's someone there to do it with me. Sometimes just a brisk walk along the lake, taking in the beautiful scenery of downtown, is enough for me. I'm not a big fan of winter so in the colder months, I like curling up on the couch with a good movie (and preferably someone to snuggle with). I am fun, funny, intelligent and incredibly kind. I will do just about anything to help someone out, and would, without question, walk through fire for any one of my friends. I'm self-employed, enjoy what I do, and am able to be flexible with my schedule. And yes, my body type is AVERAGE and my pictures are really what I look like! I will never claim to be something I'm not. I come with no baggage and would prefer someone who doesn't have any either. For example, if you still live with your mother or your ex is a psycho, I'm not the girl for you. We all have a past but you should be able to leave it there. I'm not into drama and I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYONE WITH CHILDREN! It's in extremely poor taste to have pictures of your kids on a dating site so if that's you, you should be reported to CPS. Also, if you are only interested in a texting buddy and not looking to actually meet or spend time together, then move along and do so quickly. I'm not looking for a texting buddy. In fact, I can't stress enough how much I HATE texting, so if that is your sole form of communication, then please don't waste my time. No rap, hip hop or country, please.
