I lived in upstate NY for 10 years and I have spent the last four years enjoying what I have referred to as a "midlife crisis walk about." When my children left home I found myself sitting in an empty nest wondering why I was working and shoveling snow.??? I decided to go back to school on line and go where life took me. There are two recent developments that have changed things for me a bit. My 15 yr old son moved back from his Dad's to live with me full time and my daughter who got married last year, just had my first granddaughter. She is beautiful and precious. So there is lots of life and activity in my world, but it is all good! I have been in Ga for a year now. I have enjoyed the oportunity to go back to school and further my education. I guess I am lucky that opportunities always seem to present themselves. I like to see new places and experience new things. I appreciate the finer things in life but don't need much to keep me happy; I keep it simple. I love to Camp (by the water) nothing better than a nice night by a campfire with friends sharing laughs and****ails. I would really like to meet someone who has like interests and knows how to smile, laugh and live a little. I like to do anything outdoors, as long as the sun is shining; being on a boat or in the water is always a plus! I have a strong personality and am very outgoing. I am not compatible with insecure controlling men. I like strangers, and am not afraid to strike up a conversation. Would like to meet someone who compliments me and I compliment them. I live by three rules; Be Responsible, Reliable, and Respectful of others. These are the basics and I look for the same in return.
