I'm an executive coach who is passionate about helping people find fulfillment in their work. I'm currently discovering ways to deepen my knowledge of important theories and philosophies of adult learning, and I'm in the process of building communities within my profession. When I talk with others about leadership, learning, and personal transformation, I find people are drawn to my passion.I enjoy jazz, classical, and popular music, and I love books, especially literature. Going to a used book sale is a dream for me -- it's like going on a treasure hunt. I'd love to find someone who likes to share what we read together. I like to balance the quiet times with activity -- there are so many great opportunities to do fun things in the DC area, I'd like to have someone special to join me. I get nourished in nature -- I'm an avid day-hiker. And I love animals -- my dog and two cats are very important to me. I hope my new friends will enjoy my animal ones.I'm active and healthy, and want a partner to explore with. I'm looking for someone to experience life with, especially to try things I've never tried before. I'd like to find someone to share my interests, to learn with, to grow with intellectually, to discover new activites. I don't have any fixed expectations -- first, I want to make friends, and see what happens beyond that. The best first date for me is meeting for coffee. I'm a pretty relaxed, casual person who doesn't play games and who doesn't expect a first meeting to tell me everything about the other person. I like to get to know people over time, and hope others will want to get to know me too, because there's so much below the surface of all of us. If, after meeting for coffee, our intuition says it's worth getting together again, a meal or attending an event would be great.
